I visited PJ's for the first time today and found the shop to be clean, cozy and quiet - perfect for working/enjoying a book... while having coffee. It was a Sunday afternoon, so I doubt it would be that quiet on a weekday. I didn't have any food, but thecoffee was tasty (though it had less frills than Starbucks). The service was quick and polite. Read more

I used to frequent pjs every morning Prior to work but decided to stop after an app/privacy issue. I did bring this issue up... with them but was never given an answer as to why my points go up and down - and a random check in through my phone number. Thisis more a of a privacy issue than it is points. For now,I?ll go to peets. Hopefully they solve the app issue. Read more

I?ve been on the hunt for good (I?d have even settle for decent) beignets in the DMV and every place that I?ve tried so far has... been TERRIBLE. I don?t know why it?s so hard for places here to get beignets right? but anyway, today changed all that when Idecided to try PJs. I got a cafe latte and an order of beignets and both are PERFECTION. Finally, I can rest easy knowing thatmy mission is complete. Also, the baristas were both very sweet! I?ll definitely be back more often. Read more

The staff was very great but the drinks they made were not. Coffee was burnt and the iced mocha wasn't flavourful. The beignet... were good, but we ended up leaving the coffee and going to sweeteria Read more

A wonderful New Orleans coffee shop. Smooth, strong (dark roast) coffee, paired nicely with a delicious beignet. Great morning... starter. Staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Need one in my home town. Read more

Cozy and has delicious coffee! I got the mocha latte with oat milk and it?s exactly what I wanted on this rainy day.

Out checking out new coffee places and this one came across my radar. Parking here was a little weird. I had to go ask where... their parking was. It's in the garage beside them but is only like 3 retail spaces. The atmosphere was very relaxed. I got thepraline latte. It was decent. I guess the flavor could have been a little stronger. Lemon poppyseed is one of my faves. Theyhave a rewards system where you just need to enter your number at the end of the transaction so that's pretty convenient. I'd goback and try other things. Really enjoyed the velvet ice and though by nature it has a lot of ice felt like half my cup had remaining frozen drink. ... Overall the drink was pretty sweet probably on par with frappuccinos from that other coffee shop I won?t name. Having lived innorthern Louisiana and experienced CC Coffee in Louisiana I will say they offer a fairly similar experience. The best thingabout this place is that they do sell King Cakes which are far more authentic than some poor excuses at farmers markets thatdon?t even have the signature white, green and purple frosting. They do offer a register rewards program but it isn?t clearwhat you earn and when. Overall the cashier was fairly nice but I almost expected a more Louisiana experience with bright MardiGras ads and maybe even selling beignets. To me this will be important long term with numerous coffee shops in the areaincluding the very popular Kaldi. Read more
