Where to begin. I placed an order online for pickup at the same time a plane flew into power lines and shut down power for a... broad area of Montgomery County. I arrived to a completely dark store front and someone working by phone flashlight. Despite thepower outage, he completed my order, with a little extra thrown in, and then made sure I was able to safely walk back to myvehicle. The food was delicious and fed us for days. Great sauces, poorly cooked chicken wings! To start on a positive note: Our favorite flavors were San Antonio, Garlic Butter... Parmesan, Old Bay Buffalo, and Sweet Teriyaki. However, my wings were cooked improperly and arrived cold. I made a large order:30 wings, 5 flavors, and wedges, totaling $65. The skin was browned, but the meat of the chicken was undercooked. Meaning thewings were cooked at a high temperature, and were unable to cook as quickly as the skin. Not to mention, I asked for my wings tobe cooked extra crispy, and they were not crispy at all. Although, that may be due to the fact that my wings arrived cold forsome reason, even though the delivery driver delivered the wings in under 20 minutes. I read a lot of great reviews about theirchicken wings, and I had to try them when they reopened, but I have been left with a disappointing experience. I love chicken wings and I will travel anywhere to get some good delicious wings so I heard about these wings from google map. I... traveled from Upper Marlboro to Silver Spring today to satisfy my wing craving and I?m here to tell y?all these are the BESTWINGS IN TOWN!!! Not only that I enjoyed the good down home Hospitality from Mr. Walton he saw my last name and thought we werekin folks but his family from Georgia and Mine From Virginia. Anyhow if you want some good wings please visit but order onlinebefore you go I learned that when I got there but we worked it out. The best wings! I'm not a huge wing guy, but this place makes me want to get wings more often. Both the boneless and bone-in... wings have a light batter before being fried; makes for a great flavor and a nice crunch. Great variety of excellent tastingsauces. Mambo and garlic-parm are my favorites. And the seasoned potato wedges are a required addition. Lemonade was spot on,not too sweet and not too tart. Read more
Got these wings a couple weeks ago right after they opened. We had been looking for a good wing place in the area and were so... happy to find them! The wings themselves were perfect. Crispy on the outside and tender in the inside. We ended up ordering themplain and got a bunch of side orders of sauces so we could try multiple combinations. The Thai chili was my favorite but allwere great. Service was excellent and had a great chat with the owner who talked about how they had to switch from cateringevents to take out in the setting of the pandemic. Read more
The wings, fries, and sauces were all spectacular! The food was ready and all made fresh to order. Ordering online was easy and... per the guidelines from the county. The owner has over two decades of experience in the food service industry so clearly heknows what he?s doing. He has worked with top chefs in the area like Jose Andres and Marcus Samuelsson and the flavors from thewings prove it. Additionally, the friendly service was really nice and exceeded my expectations on all levels. We took our kidsthere and the owner was extremely helpful in accommodating our family. Ordered the classic buffalo and no sauce wings from Silver Spring Wings and oh boy were they delicious!! I spent a few years... living in upstate New York and these wings were just as good, if not better! The crispness of the wings and veggies is superband the home-made blue cheese is absolutely on point.
