Chicken fried steak was good, but hash browns were burnt and that put a real damper on my wife's breakfast burrito.
Hit up the place to try the minion menu and we were not disappointed. We tried the banana pudding pancakes and banana milkshake.... Both had banana slices on it! Great service. The pancakes are always good. I love the breakfast sampler or the amazing omelettes. Lots of gluten free... options(including pancakes and waffles). My sons love the bacon burger and the French dip. My daughter enjoyed the French toast.Very friendly and helpful employees. We really enjoyed our meal. Awesome job! Read more
Recently I visited friends in Portland Oregon, where they invited me to a mom and pop breakfast amongst other events. Needless... to say the breakfast spot did not disappoint. Today I woke up with the urge to have a similar experience, so I went to IHOP inSilverdale WA area. It?s been 3 years since I have been to an IHOP, but today did not meet my nostalgic experience frombefore. They gave me a paper menu, which the copy they gave was fading out. The server told me I can use the QR code if I wantedbut in reality I just wanted the old big menu with pictures in my hand. I ordered French Toast with coffee. I sat for maybe 7minutes, and the server came back with the French Toasts. The taste felt as if they were microwaved. Did not have the home cooktaste. I decide to stay there for a few minutes, enjoying my coffee(since I paid for it) and I realize that IHOP no longer hasthe home cook style anymore but a streamlined tasted. I felt as if I was just another number, like when you order a drink atStarbucks and they Baristas say ?next customer.? For those interested in breakfast/brunch spot or what you are in the mood for,IHOP does not have the same taste. Read more
Food is good, service is not entirely honest. They brought my wife the wrong side and told her that's what was on the menu. We... had to ask for the correct side, no big deal. Eventually, I get the bill and got double charged for kids drinks, telling methere is no free refills, which the menu absolutely said there was. I asked for the menu and our waitress left and stood by thecomputer only to come back a minute later telling us it's a "typo" on the menu and that she'd do us a favor and remove thecharges. I also verified she was incorrect about the sides and it was, in fact, their mistake. These would have been non eventsif she would have simply said it was a mistake, rather than lie about it both times and tell us we're wrong. If you sit downand get Patty as your server, double check your charges. Read more
