This place has gone from the best fast food in Silverdale to the laughingstock of the industry locally over the last year. ... There were 6 people in line for the counter, and in 8 minutes no one was served due to drive thru line they could not manage. Hourly employees standing in place, young long dark haired girl with ponytail near drive window standing with arms crossed. Oneyoung short lighter brown haired man on grill/clamshell saying "I don't care, I'm off in 5 minutes" as a younger male short darkhair manager came in to building and joined the cluster of non productivity at the window. At this point the line at counteractually started speaking out loud about what employees should be doing because it was obvious no one was working, and at thatpoint I walked out and went to McDonalds. No line, food in hand 5 minutes after leaving Wendys, I literally timed it. That iscrazy. Read more
Recently, there store has been horrible. There drive thru time and how they treat their hard working employees. Some mangers... I've seen were very kind but most of them are very horrible to there workers. I was disappointed that they haven't satisfied myorders lately. When I ordered a baconator there wasn't enough bacon on my food then when I tried to order there biggie bag.There was no sauce and couldn't make my drink into a frosty. Charlie, the manager on duty at the time of my visit, is a shining example of great management. What makes a great manager isn't... just issuing orders, but supporting and guiding a team to success with clear, positive, constructive communication. I just left Wendy's and even though it was very busy at the Silverdale Wendy's Micheal is absolutely awesome. He was very kind... over the intercom, personable, and very informative about questions I had. Even at the window it was a great experience seeinghim working hard and yet still taking time to give a calm kind voice to the situation. Appreciate the hard work and attitudeeven during the chaos. I love Wendy?s? but? this store let me down ???? I ordered the chicken nugget meal and there were so many hairs on my chicken... nuggets I couldn?t eat anymore it was like they dropped them on the floor then put them in my meal. The nuggets also tastedstale and bad not like they did when I ordered them last time two weeks ago, there were little pockets in my nuggets that werechewy and would explode in my mouth under pressure and extremely was bitter. 8/10/21 UPDATE Decided to try one of Wendy's Ice brew coffee, although it looked on the weak side, it was really good! No bitter... or acidic after taste, it wasn't so strong it made me want to add water or milk but definitely full bodied, smooth andrefreshing! My experiences with other cold brew ice coffee's always left me disappointed and wishing I hadn't spent the money onsomething I was tossing. This time, I decided to try a Junior Burger. My burger had pickles, onions, ketchup,and mustard on a toasted bun. My husband had a Daves Single and a small fry. His burger came with quarter-pound beef, Americancheese, crisp lettuce, tomato, pickle, ketchup, mayo, and onion on a toasted bun. Honestly, people will hate me for saying this.Wendy's junior burger and Mcdonald's hamburger were similar in taste; the difference was round patty vs. square patty anddehydrated onions vs. fresh onions. The bun was slightly different; the overall taste was very close, and I thought it was good.My husband's only complaint (other than it didn't look like the picture) was there was way too much mustard, ketchup, and mayo.He commented that the fries were yummy; I had a few, and my minor complaint was too much salt on them! Overall, we'll order fromWendy's again!
