Two of us ate at this Mexican restaurant during an overnight stay in Silverthorne. The positive reviews we had read were... accurate - it is a lively, busy place (situated out of town and not in a smart area), but it offered friendly, prompt, attentiveservice. Iced water and complimentary chips and dip were straight on the table as we sat; the food came quickly after we orderedand was hot and v tasty. 2 mains and a dessert came to $41, so pretty good value. There were plenty of diners of Mexican originwhich was a clear vote of confidence, in my view. The place isn't up-market or elaborate, but the service and food areexcellent. Traveler from Wisconsin, I have to say this place has the BEST street tacos and Bloody Mary I have EVER had. Service was great.... Very clean place and pet friendly as other customers had a dog with them. If I ever visit Silverthorn again I will definitely becoming back. Read more

What a pleasant surprise to find this excellent Mexican restaurant nearby. I didn?t want to spend a lot for dinner and the... prices here are so reasonable. Best Mexican restaurant in Summit County. Great service and solid food. I've never left Fritangas wishing I ordered something... else. They have items on the menu you can't order at other Mexican restaurants, including alambre (my favorite) and huaraches.The margaritas are tasty and it's reasonably priced.
