I am very sad to post this review as I don?t like to talk badly about places but I feel like it is necessary since all the... reviews I read of the Thai food were very good so I was excited for my meal. I hadn?t been to Blue Elephant in about 10 yearsand this restaurant has changed a lot. The Thai food was not recognizable. The coconut curry and pad thai tasted nothing likethe typical dishes from thai restaurants. They were both very gloopy and bland tasting. Not at all the flavours you wouldexpect. We were very disappointed. Luckily our waitress was the manager and she was sympathetic to our situation which was theonly positive about our experience this time. Their indoor patio is awesome! Definitely take advantage of it while summer is still around. The Vietnamese platter for 2 was a... great appetizer. All the staff was super friendly and prompt. Will definitely go back. Read more
An incredible surprise ! I can't say enough about this place. The variety and quality of the food was exceptional. I had the... shrimp cocktail for an appetizer and it was the best I have ever had. The chicken pad tai was amazing and the portions are HUGE! Our waitress, Jennifer went above and beyond to make our experience incredible. I will definitely return to try so many ofthe other options on the menu. Read more
Great service! Friendly staff! Excellent beer choices. Food looked great although we didn't have time to try it. Will be back to... try the baked brie. Looked amazing as it walked by. Went as a surprise birthday stop. Staff made an effort with a dessert tosurprise me with and sang happy birthday. Read more
First time back here in quite a while, and if I?m being honest its still good, but used to be better. The service was great and... the staff were super friendly, however we did have to wait over an hour for our food but it was pretty busy. The pad Thai wasstill good but really really sweet tasting which overpowered the dish. The spinach dip burger was okay, the beef patty wasreally dry and a bit hard to eat, if it was cooked and seasoned better this burger would have been great. We also got the fishand chips which was a little overcooked but still pretty decent and the green curry which was okay also. One thing I have tomention is all of us who got fries couldn?t eat them, they tasted like they were in the deep fryer a few minutes toolong(similar to the fish) so they were super hard and dry on the outside and nothing on the Inside, none of us could eat much ofour fries. The beer is still awesome, the red devil is one of my favourite craft beers I have ever tried, just unfortunate theydon?t fill growlers anymore unless you already have one to refill. Overall still a great local place to eat, but previousexperiences seemed much better than our most recent one. Read more
If I could give them a ten star rating I would, the service was incredible our server Jennifer went above and beyond, just... incredible friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and beers on tap, the food was amazing, great portions the pretzels were amazinghighly recommend same with the fish and chips ????? Tried out the Thai spring rolls and chicken pad Thai with shrimp on recommendation of a friend and WOW! Food was absolutely... amazing! Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying out more items from the menu. Read more
