Finally got a chance to come to the Combine. I?ve been wanting to visit for almost acouple years now!! And it was everything I?d... hoped it would be! Ambience was lovely, beautiful grounds and landscaping. We were seated in the tent, so nice to have a propertent instead of just an umbrella. The menu was phenomenal and it was hard choosing which options to go with. I love that Thefood is all fresh and local. The flavours and ingredients are well thought out and pair together beautifully. Cocktail list isvery impressive and drinks are beautifully presented. We had a lovely evening and ended up taking friends back afew weeks later.The menu had changed and everything was once again fantastic!! The house is and old Victorian home with a lot of the originallyarchitecture preserved. It is absolutely gorgeous?can?t wait to eat inside! Bathrooms are spacious, up to date and veryclean. Excellent atmosphere in this large old home in Simcoe with oak trim. Great appetizers followed up with entrées that tasted as... good as they looked!!! Our server was awesome and she showed that she enjoyed her job. I had a great steak and shrimp withgarlic mashed potatoes. Suggest to call for reservations Read more

The restaurant is kinda in old home that is nicely decorated and has surprisingly enough room to be comfortable while eating.... The waitresses were extremely kind and had us seated almost as soon as we arrived. The menu is a bit more pricey then you wouldthink, I believe the bill was $65 for two the two of us. We had the perch taco (it is just a taco not taco"s") it's $6.50 justfor one of those, but it was pretty good. But for $6.50 I'll be skipping those. The other diner ordered "TAGLIATELLE PRIMAVERA"and did not finish due to the "excess use of pesto", other notes made were that the charred kale was out of place in the dish. Iordered the "COMBINE BURGER" and it was nothing to really write home about, I didn't much enjoy the grainy mustard that was onthe burger. The '352' Ketchup is great tho. The "COMBINE BURGER" was on special with a belgian blond beer that did go well withthe meal. Read more
We've been waiting to come here for years when we were in the area and we finally made it out. The restaurant is great. We made... a reservation ahead of time and sat on the patio. The server was super friendly and made some excellent suggestions. She wasvery attentive as well. We had the corn dog bites to start which was a great dish and the mustard was a great compliment. Fordinner we had the coconut curry braised beef and the buttermilk chicken dishes. We loved both of them. Lastly for dessert weboth opted to try the spiced Chocolate torte which if you still have room for dessert you have to try. We wanted to buy a wholedish of that to bring home with us. This restaurant is located in a beautiful old house where you can eat inside or on a the charming porch. I had the excellent... Mediterranean pizza as well as an heirloom tomato and mozzarella appetizer. Food was excellent and the glass of house wine for$8 can't be beat! Read more
Had an amazing dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The staff are overwhelmingly friendly and made made us feel very... welcome. It's nice to have a restaurant that serves fresh, local, and artisan dishes. Being able to celebrate all that Norfolkoffers in a relaxed, homey, yet classy atmosphere is amazing. The food was fantastic and the protions were are perfect. Nottoo big and not too small - you will leave satisfied. The drink menu was able to highlight local craft breweries and wineries. We had a bottle of Burning Kiln -Strip Room and loved it. There was relaxing dinner music playing theought the restaurant butit wasn't overbearing. The menu changes every few weeks to showcase what is in season locally. We love the idea and will beback soon to see what is new. We will definitely be back.
