Ty is amazing. He is truely a great chef and owner. He goes above and beyond for his guests. Everything on his menu from his... traditional Hawaiian authentic bbq to his mothers pot roast to his gravy fries and chili brisket macaroni and cheese are to diefor. If you are near simi valley it is a must try. All his prices are very reasonable. I believe 15 bucks for a giant portion offood is the highest price. The food here is extremely good, the owner seems to really care about what he is doing and really cares about the people he is... serving. Its certainly not your typical fast food, which is wonderful. The majority of the menu is traditional low and slowsmoked food, but with a twist, the seasonings and dishes are Hawaiian. We ordered the pulled pork bowl to go ..... this is the worst meal I have ever purchased ! The pork was mush and had a ton of... catsup... not much BBQ.., the veggies were previously frozen veggies, not fresh and very little if them and rice overdone andsticky... It was a bit difficult finding this place at first. Google maps directed us to the middle of the parking lot, however, it turns... out it was located inside a bar. TJ?s bar is friendly and inviting and Paniolo?s food is amazing!! I was completely sober and itwas great I can?t imagine how bomb it would be buzzed and/or drunk! New kick it spot! Read more
