My husband and I LOVE Toppers Pizza - came all the way from KS just to eat here (ok, not really, but Toppers was a MUST during... our visit. The restaurant was clean, same for the women's restroom. 2022.01-14/FRI_1000: A group of friends invited us to eat dinner with them after a good session of bowling. They invited us to... Toppers Pizza. Being that we have many dietary restrictions - we don't tell our friends and just learned to deal with it when weget to our destination. It is simple when you have food allergies-you eat it or your throat closes up. So don't eat it. Anyway.They ordered some Garlic Breadsticks, a Pepperoni and Bacon Pizza, Jalapeno Poppers and a Combination Pizza. The GarlicBreadsticks have cheese on them and appear to be fresh baked. I had a piece of it and the flavor was good. A good balance ofgarlic butter and salt. They were better than another commercial Italian restaurant I've been to in my lifetime. They serve themwith ranch and marinara. The bread is actually fluffy and nothing like the standard, dense Oive Garden breadstick. The JalapenoPoppers were a hit for me. First off, they were cream cheese and not cheddar cheese. Score! They were also baked and not fried.Another point! They were delicious. They did not have any type of breading at all. Just let me explain. They literally arejalapenos cut in half lengthwise. The jalapenos were filled with cream cheese and topped with crispy bacon and baked. Deliciousand perfect. We got the Combination Pizza with no pizza sauce and had it made with a creamy garlic sauce instead. We wereimpressed with the quality of the food being that it's not your local Italian mom and pop joint. The bread and crust were good.It was cooked to perfection. The pictures are pretty spot on when it comes to texture. The toppings and cheese were fresh,nothing like what we expected. We really had no complaints. The garlic sauce used in the pizza was flavorful and the amount oftoppings were excellent, too. All of it was great! The salad bar was always kept up and cleaned. Its toppers, you cant go wrong. There pizza is very yummy. I would also recommend the garlic bread sticks they are soft and... really yummy. Nice atmosphere. They usually have some sort of sport on the TVs. There is also an outdoor seating area withheaters. They have a salad bar on offer aswell. I would recommend trying something new every time you go. They have manydifferent base sauces and so many toppings to choose from. Read more
I'm not sure if it's because it's family owned and not a chain but the 2 locations I visited were equally amazing the food is... very authentic and quality seems to be the overall concern along with amazing customer service pizza might be a little expensiveside, but it's worth the money and the time. Another thing is the crust!! Usually I'm not one to eat it but it's very nicelytextured and has great flavor. The sauce to toppings ratio is also something that sets them apart from most places. Toppers has been one of my favorites restaurants, the pizza is tasty as the sandwiches, I always go with the fam, a large pizza... and 2 combos of ham and Swiss, salad and a bag of crunchy potato chips for 3 adults and 2 kids, it?s always enough. Toppers Pizza in Simi Valley is by far the best pizza in town! The pizza taste great and it?s always fresh and always fast.... Phone orders are so easy and convenient. The people that work there are so polite and courteous. Dining in has always been agreat experience and there is a nice outdoor patio as well. This is a great place to get together for youth sports teams too asthe dining area is huge with plenty of seating for large groups. If you prefer to get pizza delivery the drivers do a excellentjob at getting your pizza delivered on time. Curbside pickup is another great option and this location makes it super easy topickup. Just text a code to the number on the sign in the curbside pickup spaces and they promptly bring out your order. Can?tsay enough great things about this place. I fail to comprehend how much other give this place more than 2-3 stars. Have been 3 times with family and friends and we find... nothing special...pedestrian at best. Honestly, have had frozen pizza that was as good. Very over rated....and then it comestime to pay. Prices are excessive and do not match the advertisements. We haven't been back and wont be...get Dominoes and a 6pack of Coke for a better value. Read more
