My girlfriend and I, decided on Cracker Barrel, after seeing the delicious looking picture of cream cheese pancakes on a... billboard. She got something else, but I ordered those cream cheese pancakes as they looked absolutely delicious in the picture.Upon receiving them, however, I was a bit disappointed. The picture had shown actual cream cheese as one would expect,sandwiched between the pancakes. What I was served was pancakes with more of a yellowish creamy looking sauce that had a hint ofcream cheese in it. Overall, our meals were still spectacular and enjoyable. However, my pancakes didn't quite deliver the wayI'd expected them to based on that picture on the billboard. My girlfriend loved her meal, our food was served hot, and ourserver was very nice and courteous. Definitely will try to go back soon, but probably I won't be ordering those cream cheesepancakes. Cracker Barrel Simpsonville. Absolutely awesome. Food was great. The service spectacular. Had a short wait to be seated , but... it was not long. This is one of my favorite Cracker Barrels. The store is always well stocked and well put together. Staff is friendly and... helpful. The restaurant consistently serves hot, fresh, homey foods. The wait staff can be rather hot or miss, however. Theyhave been great in the past but the last couple times we have visited our waitress was not particularly friendly and did thebare minimum as far as service. She was disinterested and just seemed as if she'd punched out hours ago. We stopped in afterlunch rush ( about 2 pm) so maybe it had been a tough day. But this is the second time it has happened to us there and is NOTtypical of the staff there. We love Cracker Barrel and will continue to visit/shop. Read more

Quality has really gone down! We ordered a burger and French toast. The burger patty was thin and not so great. Tastes like a... frozen patty from the store out of a box. The real problem is the French toast. If you look at the pictures you can see that oneslice is about as big as a ketchup packet! Do better Cracker Barrel! Read more

The service here was divine as if every employee was sent by Heaven. They took care of me with a smile, even at 8am. Food is... just as good as I remembered it with a menu that changes with the seasons. All I wanted was some sides and biscuits and myWaitress taught me of an easier combo that had everything I wanted at a lower cost. So I?ve never eaten here but have always heard amazing things. I googled what to get and said ok let?s go. You walk in and it... looks amazing. I walk in and it?s not really busy I take my seat and wait. I see a waiter who I assume is mine kneeling at thetable next to me. He?s talking to an elderly couple who are sat there. So I find what I want on the menu and I continue to sitand wait but he just keeps conversing. Another gentleman walks in and is greeted by his waiter, takes a seat and has a drink andbiscuits on the table, meanwhile I?m still waiting on my waiter. Finally he comes over asks me what I would like to drink and ifI wanted corn bread or biscuits. I say biscuits and a coke. The coke comes out and I place my order. After 35 minutes of sittingI decided to walk out of a 3/4 empty restaurant. I can see why there were so many elderly people in the establishment theyprobably aged whilst waiting for their food. First time and last. Didn?t even get to try the biscuits or that chicken friedsteak. Update: well I came back the following day. Luckily I was in Valeries section as she was amazing at her job. Overall thefood is mediocre, you can find this anywhere and with more flavor. I was disappointed that my peach cobbler came out the sametemperature as my ice cream. I asked to have it remade and my cobbler was just thrown in a microwave with the ice cream on top.So when I got it back it was just ice cream soup. Guess I won?t be back. Well Folks I have always ??Cracker Barrel but this one is Not up to par for the Franchise.Hardly anyone else was there and still... had to wait 15 minutes.Well when we were seated I understood why.Several tables were still not cleaned up and only one personwas actually there for that duty.So I asked for some Cornbread muffins lol never got those either ?????
