We ordered takeout on a crazy night and Chili's did a great job! Are entrees or nice and warm and usually they're pretty cold by... the time we get them home, and the prices are always great. For something quick on the go these days it's cheaper to go to aplace like Chili's and it is to go to a place like McDonald's! Between you and me I would much rather go to Chili's :-) I eventhrew an alteration to one of my items and they nailed it they didn't mess it up! A lot of times when you order takeout and youthrow a special request at them not just Chili's but anywhere they'll mess it up so I was impressed that they got it right. Gotto give him kudos for that. They had a staff shortage & seating was limited to the bar/lounge area. Our server was excellent, very friendly & upbeat,... brought our food out fast and checked back often to ask if we needed anything. I had steak fajitas and my wife had the Chickenfajitas. Hers tasted great, my steak was bland and not tender. Not the way I remember the Chili's of just a few years ago.Overall it was just okay, but for $58.00 plus tip, I am not in a rush to go back. Again, our server was exvellent. Read more

2 o'clock on a Saturday afternoon and it was practically dead in there. If you're vegetarian I don't recommend going as there is... barely anything to choose from . I ended up having to get just a black bean burger. And it pretty much tasted like a heated upMorning star farm black bean burger. Fries were decent but already had salt on them which thankfully I noticed before I added myown salt. Waiter was incredibly nice and right on top of things. But, in regards to my options due to being vegetarian, I won'trecommend chili's. My niece rated her plain regular burger a 6 because it was just average. My Sister rated her burger eitherthe Chili's special sauce a 6 as well. Chili's isn't what it used to be Read more

Horrible experience. Horrible food and service. Worst chili I've been. Waiters here are a joke. Not trained at all. They don't... know how to place an order, don't clean up the table between your meal and dessert. They are not paying attention on what theybring you and what's missing. One person took our order, another brought the food. And it's seems they don't communicate betweeneach other. It looks like this store doesn't have a manager with leadership and organization. In conclusion, poor runrestaurant. The worst chilli I have been in my life. This is like eating in a nasty fast food with expensive prices and poorservice. Read more

This place has gone completely downhill. I?ve ordered dinner to-go and found two flies in two different boxes. They did nothing.... There fries are soggy every time now. They forget sauces and everything now. Have no regard for making things right. I?ll be notordering from this spot in Simsbury anymore. Flies in two different boxes! How? Gross. Read more

Slow service. I arrived around 5:30 or so on Saturday. There were plenty of open tables so it's not like they were crazy... packed. Took a while for the waitress to even take my order. A runner dropped the food and the waitress that took my ordernever came back to check on me or give me a refill. I'm glad I could just pay the bill and leave with the tablet. I'm veryforgiving when it's obvious the employees are busy but it wasn't the case here. Read more

We had a table of 14 come here last week, although they were short staffed in the kitchen and in front, they did an amazing job.... Yes it was slower then normal but definitely understood given the staffing issues. The women manager was amazing and made sureeverything was great, she even gave us a bunch of sides fresh fries to accommodate for any wait. We had a great experience ! Read more

Chili's has always been a reliable go-to chain restaurant for ribs, fajitas, burgers and more. Returning to CT after many years... in SoCal some time ago, I told people it was the only place you could get a good margarita. There are equally good places now orbetter for this drink, but Chili's still provides a balanced menu and a comfortable environment for patrons who want to sit atthe bar, have a family dinner with young children or a casual date. The Avon Chili's I used to go to for many consecutiveyears. This was my first time here in awhile. More recently it was because of the Coronavirus, and we've been eating at smallbusinesses to help keep them open. Prior to this, schedules, destinations and locations changed our dining places. Early Feb.2022, we were seated in the bar right after opening. Our server, also the bartender, was polite and attentive. They don't have ahappy hour, but their Valentine's Day oriented $5. margarita for the month was very good. I wanted the Blue Pacific Margarita Iused to love, but they've changed this recipe and it now has pineapple juice like many other drinks on the menu. This changedidn't work for me. Also new was they no longer charge for their chips and salsa as they did before, which was something trulysurprising to me after returning from CA, where these are always complimentary. The basket brought to our table was drenchedwith oil. We heard other customers inquire about this, and everyone was told it was because they were made fresh today. Salsawas simply blended tomato, but as a free starter, diners ate them up. Their original menu items remain the most reliable. Thefull order of ribs was still fall off the bone tender and flavorful. The fries were lacking. The six ounce sirloin ordered rareto medium rare was cooked medium, and the loaded mashed potatoes that came with the meal tasted off to me. Lack of seasoning?Pre-made? I ate a few bites and got the rest to go for my partner. Broccoli was fair. It was har Read more
