Sub was good but they were out of miss Vicky?s BBQ chips so I got macaroni and cheese. Not worth the $4.99. Will skip it the... next time. Had to ask the guy to put a fork in the bag. Read more
Firehouse sub is the best sub sandwich shop there is. All the sandwiches I have tried or great, but my favorite is the... Engineers. What I really like about the fire house sub is they offer you a warm sandwich. Other places have sandwiches butthey?re served cold. This store in Sioux City is clean and well staffed. Read more
We were in there this afternoon & were incredibly impressed at how the girls working were handling a rush. They greeted us,... treated us with respect while ordering, answered all our questions AND had our food out in a reasonable time. What impressed useven more is how, especially one employee, was handling a group of disgruntled, angry customers. Their complaints were trivial,but were being incredibly rude towards the staff. I never heard the staff raise their voice back, but rather offer differentsolutions to remedy the situation. It took great discipline and restraint on their part. Good flavors and variety. Brisket sandwich lacks meat. Temperatures in restaurant not very comfortable (cold) and smokey hue.
What can I say about firehouse have never had a bad sub or experience there awesome subs great staff they always welcome you... with a welcome to firehouse no matter who you are good BBQ and hot sauce for you to try out been there many times and will keepgoing back and some of the money goes to the fire department doesn't not get any better than that you eat good subs and youcontribute to the fire and police department Read more
Just had the worse experience as a bystander. Sandwich making was rather slow, like 20 minute or more for a sandwich! 2 woman... in there and was waiting a long time for there order, a sandwich went out to a customer that had came 5 minutes behind them, hegot his sandwich before them and one of the woman only asked, How did his go out first but we have been here longer, the managerwent irate emediatly and was yelling at them to leave and never come back because he owns the store, he was irate and some whatagressive, cussing at them and yelling that they need to leave, all they did was asked a question..Long wait was all theyasked..as a witness I'm concerned how the manager was so irate and yelling at these women In front of other customers..not afriendly environment at all! There was another employee yelling back so bad at these two he made her go take a break..wow! Don'task questions at firehouse subs.Tell all your friends to beware of the manager.. Read more
