Me and my husband came in for our first time. They told us a 10 minute wait, 20 minutes later we got seated. As we were waiting... for our table I was looking around the restaurant. And I noticed how dusty the vents were and how dirty the walls were. Wellthey finally called us to get our table so we did. And we ended up sitting at one that was super wobbly and dirty. Fun place and fresh food, sushi is above average for Midwest. The price is on the higher side but you do get a show. The wait... may be a bit and the jokes recycled but they do good. Could use a good cleaning, not filthy but starting to get there. Read more

Very disappointed. I just received my order. Ordered nearly $70 for a 1 person dinner of primarily sushi & sashimi. It was late... being delivered; the restaurant said it would be fresh and hot. It just arrived cold on the soup and pan fried gyoza. Nochopsticks or soy sauce and I?m at a hotel. I thought the delivery person dropped off their drink outside my door. Realized itwas the soup?very poorly packaged in a drinking cup and was dirty. Sushi was smashed. This is NOT a $70 meal. I thought the food was really good or server was very disappointing the reason why is we were at a table with a family who's... child was celebrating his birthday the cook brought cake for him and than he never gave it to him the servers are it at thereside station the only reason they sang happy birthday to him was because I said something to them great food service needs help Read more

The sushi was great, but the service was horrible. The place was practically empty. I received my first drink after ordering and... finished it. I then sat for the next 40 minutes through my entire meal with an empty cup and no one to check on us. The waitressseemed like she didn't care or want to be there. Read more

I have been to this place only twice and both times we had bad service. Today we decided to have sushi (I lived in SoCal for 17... years and have had some of the best and worst sushi there is. There are a lot of sushi placed in the LA area, so I know sushi.)Anyways I digress, we walked in at 12:05 I know because I looked at my watch. We were greeted by the hostess, and told to take atable so we did. There were only 2 other tables being occupied by patrons, and one being occupied by who I assume was a worker.We sat there while the other tables were waited on, twice, got their checks, and such. We still had no even been said Hi to byan waitress. Then at 12:15 another couple walked in and was IMMEDIATELY waited on, while we still were sitting there for 10minutes. So needless to say because of 2 bad experiences I doubt we will be going back. Oh side note I am used to paying $50 ormore for good sushi. Read more

This place is awesome. I don't like sushi and i really enjoyed my dish here. The owners are constantly changing up and coming up... with new rolls all the time. It's located right in the heart of Sioux City a block away "the wheel house" bar & grille. Thereare all kinds of stores and shopping centers in the area.
