EVERYTHING was FABULOUS!!!! as leftovers too. We over ordered and the doggie bag was NOT going to the dogs ???? Our favorite... thing was the crispy chicken flaunts and the table guacamole. Sorry for missing the guacamole picture it got eaten too quickly. The server actually makes it right at the table, now that's as fresh as it gets ???? ???? DELICIOUS!!!! Read more

The food was fresh and hot, presentation was good! The flavors left alot to be desired. Maybe I've spent way to much time in the... Southwest but it really tasted out of a box chemical flavor to me. Read more

A nice and clean restaurant with good service. The food tasted fine and was fresh. But, in my opinion, the food tasted as though... it was made by someone who had never had Mexican food and had to make it from someone else's description. So, definitely nowhereclose to authentic. Read more

This was my first visit, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Although the room was very dim in the light of day, as was the bulb... over our table, our waiter, Walter, shed light on several dishes he would recommend after he asked my preferences and sharedfavorites of his own. Walter's knowledge of the menu was amazing, and what I received was exactly as he described it regardingpresentation, taste, spice level, and so on. He was the only wait staff for one side of the restaurant and the hostess told himhe was going to have to take a couple on the other side. Walter was unflappable and this didn't sour his good attitude. Nor didit mean anyone suffered from a lack of attention. Walter said he loves his job, and it shows. When I mentioned he was going tobe running back and forth, he said Covid is going around again and someone thought about closing Chevys due to a lack of staff. He said for the time being, the decision was made to temp staff and do Covid testing on each employee who shows up for work. Tome, this sounds like a good measure for the time being. The food was good and hot. I had a two dish plate of chicken flauta andpork tamale. I like your rice better than a authentic Mexican restaurant we usually frequent. My only suggestion would be toreduce the sodium in the aoli sauce, which was as unique and tasty as the jalapeño jelly. I hope to come back soon. Read more

This would be a lower rating if Chevies hadn?t been so good in the past. I understand that things cost more right now and prices... need to reflect that but higher prices and reduced quantity really rubs me the wrong way. I got the fish tacos and I could havegotten more on the tortilla at Taco Johns. Tasted ok when I got a bit of fish in the bite. I hope things can turn around butChecy?s is off the menu for now. Sorry to leave a bad review for a place we used to love so much. PS. They must have stoppedadding chips and salsa to the to-go orders now too. Read more

So I get it, I?m from Texas so we are used to Mexican food and margs. But this is nowhere near what Mexican food taste like. The... flavors are a bit off and seasonings are not what they should be. But, my food wasn?t bad. It?s not amazing. But it?s nothorrible. The margaritas were just okay. Didn?t taste like tequila. The limes we requested were slices and not wedges so there?sno way to squeeze them into my marg. But hey, they?re like 25hrs away from Mexico. But just know if you?re a traveler from anystate in the south, this won?t get your Mexican fix. Read more

I had some high hopes for this place. Atmosphere was nice, decorations were cool, but sadly, the food was less than mediocre. ... We got the Southwestern Cobb Salad and the Chicken Flautas. The chicken in my salad was so dry I'm guessing it was pre cookedand packaged specifically for salads instead of a fresh grilled chicken breast cut up. Couldn't eat it threw away a $14salad The chicken flautas were decent. The rice with them was terrible. Margaritas and the waitress were good. So overall, a 2star rating but definetly will not be repeat customers. 1 and done. Read more
