TLDR: I won't be back. This is my first time going to this Jacky's restaurant, but I've been to the one downtown many times and... enjoyed that one. The food was good, but the service was terrible. Good luck getting a refill. Normally at these types ofrestaurants chips and salsa are provided to the table free of charge. A small handful of chips is not a lot for a party of threeand after going up to the counter we got a refill. That refill cost $3. My mother and her boyfriend ordered fajitas to share asthe amount of food you get is quite large. The lady dropped off the rice and beans plus my meal. I was halfway done with my mealbefore the fajita meat and veggies showed up at our table. The fajitas only include 3 tortillas, so again we had to go to thefront to get more tortillas. Turns out they charge $1 per each additional 3 fajita tortilla shells. So getting ready to pay,none of the waiters/waitresses stopped to pick up the ticket. Keep in mind a $100 bill is clearly visible to the waiters. After10 minutes of waiting we again go up to the front to pay. Watching the waiter with the till, they didn't have enough to coverthe change so the waiter pulled cash out of his pocket to cover the shortage. Read more
So we went there last night thinking it was gonna be amazing from what we heard from the community. Margaritas in a pitcher bad... idea, half of it pours to the flower when the server pours it into our glass because they aren?t even real pitchers. The food has always been good and we used to go there almost every week but now will not go back. This is the 3 rd time in a row... that we went and there was horrible service! This time we just got up and left! When we go now you have to wait to get sat, youhave to wait to get drinks, wait for someone to take your order, wait for food and I?m talking about waiting 15-20 minutes justto get your drinks and chips. The servers sit at the bar talking and don?t care about their customers! One of the last times wetried to go there the service ruined our whole night so tonight we left! We got sat done and they couldn?t even come back togreat us and take our drink order or bring us chips. They were sitting at the bar again. Do not recommend! Wonderful little spot, friendly service! The authentic Guatemalan dish was great (tasty soup, fried plantains and slaw/rice).... Absolutely would try this if you are in town looking for a non chain good place to go. Read more
Best sit down Mexican in Sioux Falls. Their fajitas are amazing. Have to get an extra side of pickled carrots and Jacky?s hot... sauce to go on top. The beans are also amazing. Really haven?t had anything we haven?t enjoyed. I also like stealing bites of mydaughters steak quesadilla which has great flavor. Would highly recommend! Read more
Went in with my family, got seated and was given chips and salsa. No drinks and no waiter or waitress for 30 mins. In fact no... one came at all and we ended up just walking out. A bday party was going on and they seated other people who all got waited on.Bragged about this place and when we went terrible service. So disappointed! Read more
