This is our first visit. We enjoyed every dish. We've nothing bad to say. Even the waiter was great.
I absolutely loved this place!!! The staff was amazing especially the bartender she was so sweet, knowledgeable and helpful! The... wine selection was vast and the food menu was condensed and precise. The flavor was spectacular and they even asked me whatlevel of spice I preferred for my pasta! Their Caesar salad had to be part of my top 5 that I’ve ever had and I typicallydon’t care for a wedge but this one made me eat my words, literally! The dynamic between front of the house and back of thehouse was family oriented and they help each other out throughout the entire dining process. We went a year ago and had a great time. Sat outside with live music and a waitress who cared about us. Great atmosphere- loved... sitting between the old buildings. My wife was so excited to return this year! Went last night about 7:15. Sat at an empty tableoutside. Music was good. Several waitstaff (4-5) walked right by us treating us like we didn’t exist. After 20 minutes ofbeing completely ignored, we got up and left. We went to the Remedy brew pub across the street where they had an excellentperformer-James Dean- and had had an experience we will return for next year. Sorry, you lost our future business. WOW. Just WOW! I will start by saying, the owner has been in the restaurant business for almost 30 years or more. He never cut... corners or taken short cuts before and he remains true to form with his own place. The menu is simple and fantastic at the sametime. I simply followed the menu. Appetizers 1st then salad. 1st course followed by the 2nd then dessert. I enjoyed 3 differentappetizers including a shrimp cocktail. The shrimp was fresh and crisp. Bread and pesto. Pesto is fresh. Followed by a largecaprese salad. Then the pasta with lemon cream sauce followed with the braised beef. I enjoyed a bottle of Jessup table for 4with dinner. The wine list is simple and straight forward yet includes a few high-end options for the discerning palate. One ofmy best dinning experiences in Sioux Falls. Not to mention the excellent service. I capped my night with a double espressowhich tasted as if it was made by a pro barista... and a peice of tiramisu. Tiramisu was perfectly balanced. All in all a 6 starnight from start to finish. Awesome staff. Awesome food. Great ambiance. Arrived on site, was greeted promptly and immediately accommodated to a corner, I... requested, to finish my phone conversation. Was debating between the braised ribs with creamy polenta and the Chilean sea bass.The ribs won the race...and oh my Lord, these are the most delicious ribs over polenta I have had in the whole United States! Ifinished every single scoop/piece of it! Creamy indeed, just the right amount of seasoning, mushrooms and a heavenly dish as awhole! If you are a ribs and polenta lover - this will change your life! Had the mocha creme brulee for desert which wasgood. The one star down is because after dinner I had this sharp belly ache which took a few moments to get better. Got to town late at night and was starving! Thought we were going to get terrible side eye for bringing small children (5, 3, &... 10 month old) to a wine bar, but our waitress was incredibly nice and super understanding, and assured us it was completelyacceptable! The food ...... absolutely amazing!! Got the appetizer of breath and pesto and had to order 3 more as everyonegobbled it up!! Everything we ate was delicious! The best cheesecake I’ve had in my life! I also had pasta al limone with shrimp, which was delicious. Great food and a great... experience overall. My only complaint/suggestion would be to add a vegetarian/vegan option to the menu. Read more
