Dined in with 2 small kids. I don't think I'll be able to express how good staff and our waitress was. She was amazing, but for... a steakhouse I was expecting a better burger. It was cooked right, but no "wow" factor. Had better burgers from many otherplaces. I usually get a steak which are always fantastic but was here for lunch and went on lighter side with burger. This was our first time sitting at the bar and the gals serving at the bar were lovely. They were fast and helpful. My margarita... was very good And the food was excellent. My smothered chicken was wonderful and my husband had no complaints regarding issteak. It was a lovely evening out of a great date night and I thank you! Read more
Steaks are consistently good. During a recent visit, our party ended up with 4 out of 4 steaks cooked perfectly and each was... cooked to a different doneness. I was impressed. Only 4 stars because I always get the mushrooms with my steak. They used tocook them perfectly every time. After complimenting them one-time, a manager explained their cooking process to me and how theyrotated them regularly to keep them fresh. Either the cooking method has changed or they aren't being rotated often enough tokeep them fresh. Please go back to ensuring the mushrooms are as cared for as the steaks! Read more

I’ve visited many Texas Road House Restaurants around the USA and I literally drove to Sioux Falls, a little over an hour to... come here from Watertown. Been here a couple of times with a coworker and everything was excellent, the second time the foodservice was a little slow but it gave me time to enjoy a cold one. We went around 8 on a Wed night and the place was packed. We asked how long seating would be and they said they could seat us... immediately. We waited about 10 minutes and then they took us to the table. The table was still being cleaned and one workermade a comment to the one seating us who said don't blame me. We ended up standing in a very busy walkway for a few while theyfinished up. When we sat down the girl took a plate and silverware setting away so we ended up short one. We asked the waiter tobring it back and he brought two plates. We never got more silverware and ended up sharing some of the forks others weren'tusing from their set. The waiter came immediately and took drink orders. When he brought our drinks back he asked if we wereready and we said not yet, but ordered an appetizer. It took a while for him to come back to take our order. Our appetizer hadalready been on the table for a while. When taking our order he specifically asked about toppings on steaks, potatoes, etc.. Thetwo that ordered house salads got those a while later, but the meal took forever. The waiter told us the kitchen got backed upand would be about 2-3 mins. One meal came out to our table and the rest didn't show up for 10-12 minutes later. Two people inour party ordered steak and shrimp and only one got shrimp with the order. The waiter went to check and never wrote it down.There were 7 of us at the table and we all heard him order steak and shrimp. The waiter asked if we wanted it and we said no wedidn't want to wait longer. Another order came with a sweet potatoe but none of the toppings he specifically wrote down, which Iwatched him write were on it. The kids steak bites were very hard to chew so they ended up not getting eaten. The waiter broughtanother water to the table for one person, but nobody else. We had to ask for refills. Great steak dinner! Texas Roadhouse never disappoints. We were passing through Sioux Falls and decided it was time for a steak... dinner. Always cooked perfectly. We both order the 6 oz sirloin, salad and baked potato. The portions are generous and wedefinitely got our money's worth. It was a Saturday night and were told the wait would be 2 hours. Luckily, we were able to geta seat right away at the bar. As a couple, the bar works but for larger groups, probably not. Service was great and bartenderattentive. Read more
