We were seated on the porch which we loved. We chose the early three-course dinner and were very pleased. I started with the... Calamari, which was excellent, and my husband had the Caesar salad which he enjoyed. My husband savored the salmon and I gotthe crab cakes. I thought these cakes were the closest to those in Baltimore for which I'm always searching to find. Myhusband ended with Cherry pie and my dessert was a key lime pie. It was more like a key lime cheesecake which made it extrayummy. I had a jaloma as my cocktail and if you like tequila, I'd highly recommend. We had a wonderful experience at dinner here. Came for our son’s 18’th birthday. He loved it!!! We had a lovely server,... Jenny, who was very welcoming and kind. We have a large group, 10. And they accommodated us beautifully. The food was excellent.Most got steaks and seafood. I eat plant based- so my options were limited of course. I had a salad (which was very nice) andthe veggie roll. My only critique is to add a fun plant based option. And maybe a vegan dessert? ?? But all in all, it was awonderful night!! Read more
I’d give it 5 stars just for the beautiful outdoor seating, but the meal itself was just ok. The walleye was full of bones (my... dad was a fisherman and knew how to de-bone walleye). Fantastic vacation location and destination. It’s open later than they say. I’m from WI, so I’m picky about my fish fry.... The Whitefish almandine is the right order. Definitely, this restaurant is expensive. Cherry pie with ice cream is a must have. Read more
Had the surf and turf. Probably my own fault for ordering steak at a seafood place. Lobster was great, but not a generous... portion. Steak was good, but didn’t live up to the price. No horseradish available? That was surprising. But the real reasonfor the 3 stars is the music. My 20-something kids might have thought it was nice, but thump thump thump to steak and lobsterdoesn’t work for me. I would probably go back if a group wanted to go, but would stick with fish. Good atmosphere. The service was great and food was good. For appetizers we order Mussels and fritters, and the crab nachos. ... Mussels were fantastic. My husband order the Seafood pan roast and it was AMAZING! I order the Crab Crusted Halibut and it wasgood but rich. Read more
