It could be so much better. 10/10 location but it’s a glorified hostel (and we stayed in the newest deluxe cabin). The cabin... stunk like a dirty toilet, the floors (including the bathroom) hadn’t been cleaned, there was dog hair all over the bed, usedtowels were left in our bathroom, and they don’t provide a top sheet on the bed so if the wool blanket (which you knowthey’re not dry cleaning each time) is too hot then you’re left with a bare duvet. Friends stayed here a year ago and saidthe same thing about the cleanliness but we gave it a shot anyway. $400/night in low season. Read more

The restaurant prices are comically high and quality of food is comically low. Kitchen situation obviously needs some work... here. I did not stay the night in the lodges. I was only here for the lake and the fish sandwich (which I heard was once reallygood). That is no longer the case. Yet the kitchen prices have increased and the quality has most likely decreased. Prettyhorrible. $19 for a below-average fish sandwich, not even including fries or anything on the side. Just want folks to know whatthey're getting into before they go. Probably should just drive into Sisters for a nice meal out! Read more

Incredible place to paddle board or spend an afternoon at the lodge. You can even order coffee or have lunch at the boat house.... They even have a day use area for adventure activities. It’s beautiful here. This is a must stop place! 10 stars!! Read more

The setting here is hard to demerit. Its a fabulous place to relax and enjoy the lake. The rooms in the lodge are adequately... clean and comfortable… but, maybe lacking in basic amenities. Breakfast can only be purchased from the boathouse which opensat 8am. And your room doesn’t have a fridge. So… if you wake up early, you wait. Private wine tastings had the kitchenclosed one night, so that was a bummer too. Boathouse dinner a couple nights in a row leaves room for improvement. You can tellthey are trying hard. A bit hipster in the vibe, but I guess that comes with the area code. I would say if they threw a fridgeand a table in each room the rating would jump up to 4.5. Also, the septic tank alarm went off a bunch of times during thenight which was quite loud and annoying Read more
