It could be so much better. 10/10 location but it’s a glorified hostel (and we stayed in the newest deluxe cabin). The cabin... stunk like a dirty toilet, the floors (including the bathroom) hadn’t been cleaned, there was dog hair all over the bed, usedtowels were left in our bathroom, and they don’t provide a top sheet on the bed so if the wool blanket (which you knowthey’re not dry cleaning each time) is too hot then you’re left with a bare duvet. Friends stayed here a year ago and saidthe same thing about the cleanliness but we gave it a shot anyway. $400/night in low season. Read more

The restaurant prices are comically high and quality of food is comically low. Kitchen situation obviously needs some work... here. I did not stay the night in the lodges. I was only here for the lake and the fish sandwich (which I heard was once reallygood). That is no longer the case. Yet the kitchen prices have increased and the quality has most likely decreased. Prettyhorrible. $19 for a below-average fish sandwich, not even including fries or anything on the side. Just want folks to know whatthey're getting into before they go. Probably should just drive into Sisters for a nice meal out! Read more

Incredible place to paddle board or spend an afternoon at the lodge. You can even order coffee or have lunch at the boat house.... They even have a day use area for adventure activities. It’s beautiful here. This is a must stop place! 10 stars!! Read more

The setting here is hard to demerit. Its a fabulous place to relax and enjoy the lake. The rooms in the lodge are adequately... clean and comfortable… but, maybe lacking in basic amenities. Breakfast can only be purchased from the boathouse which opensat 8am. And your room doesn’t have a fridge. So… if you wake up early, you wait. Private wine tastings had the kitchenclosed one night, so that was a bummer too. Boathouse dinner a couple nights in a row leaves room for improvement. You can tellthey are trying hard. A bit hipster in the vibe, but I guess that comes with the area code. I would say if they threw a fridgeand a table in each room the rating would jump up to 4.5. Also, the septic tank alarm went off a bunch of times during thenight which was quite loud and annoying Read more

Gorgeous location! we loved sitting on the deck of the lodge, enjoying a beverage. And the Boathouse was fun to get food and... drink while playing in the water at the dock. We rented a double kayak and SUP. So much fun! Read more

This place is amazing. It’s got old skool summer camp vibes with a refreshed modern face. I wanted to spend a whole day here... but had to head back to Bend. Their cocktails are stupidly good as well, and there are activities almost every evening in thesummer. Also, staff was super friendly! Part of me didn’t want to write this review because I don’t want it to becometotally inundated - it feels like a hidden gem - but it needs to be known ???? Read more

We stayed in a rustic cabin for one night. I had stayed one night in a room at the lodge itself several years back. The staff... were very friendly and helpful, but the lodging itself was overpriced for what was provided; I wanted to write a review purelyfor suggestions of what might be made useful (and inexpensive upgrades) in the future given the high cost. 1. The extra chargefor linens felt unnecessary with the high price point to start. I understand that some people might bring their own linens, butthat seems like if people don't, that it should be complimentary. 2. The other cabins/rooms have coffee service in them, andthe rustic cabins do have power, but there were no coffee options besides paying for coffee down at the Boathouse. It would go avery long way to provide a coffee maker with some coffees in the cabin itself - especially for early risers :) 3. There arehooks on either side of the bed in the rustic cabins and again, power, but it would have been nice to have hanging lanterns orother forms of lower light available there. For those of us who like to read to fall asleep, it would be nice to be able toflick off the light rather than to have to get up and go to the next room to turn off the light. Ultimately, we did have areally wonderful stay, but like I said, it definitely felt as though we were overpaying by a pretty significant margin. I thinkin the future, if updates aren't made for things like this, that we would opt to either rent one of the larger cabins withanother family, or camp nearby in a yurt and visit in person. The grounds were, however, BEAUTIFUL, and the staff is alwayssuper helpful and kind. Read more
