Stopped here while on a cruise and visiting Skagway as one of the ports. There was plenty of seating in the bar area, which has... a different menu than the regular area (they ask what you'd like at seating), and was near the in house brewery which you canview through large windows. The fish and chips were great, the batter was light and fluffy and the portions were large, and mywife enjoyed the reindeer chili dog. As a bonus they serve Coke products if that does anything for you. As always in Alaskathere is an attached gift shop for your souvenir needs (hats, t-shirts, glasses, coasters, etc.). A bit expensive, but so ismuch of Alaska. We would definitely dine there again. Read more

The absolute best of 5 different breweries visited during a recent Alaska cruise to Juneau, Skagway, and Icy Strait Point.... Excellent variety and every beer we tasted was above average (I especially enjoyed and recommend the Spruce Tip Ale, definitelycan't get that at home). They also serve an excellent Alaska-focused menu, with a delicious cod sandwich, amazing salmon spread, and even a reindeer chili dog! Finally (and unfortunately for my wallet), they have an amazing selection of awesome merchandise;I left with a couple of great logo Ts, a coozie, and several cool stickers! On 4th, just off Broadway. Not to be missed! Read more

We were in town for the day while on a cruise, so stopped in for a few drinks and some lunch. So glad that we did - this place... is awesome, and wished we could have stayed longer. There's a woodburning fireplace in one of the dining areas, a pool table, gift shop, etc. We tried a few different flights, and each were great. We also tried the chili, but the standout was the fishand chips - absolutely delicious. In hindsight, we all would have gone for that if we knew it was going to be that good! I'ddefinitely recommend spending some time here. Read more

Good food, good service, pretty cool bar type atmosphere, even upstairs. Pricey as you would expect, our $20 chicken sandwich... and $10 side salad were fresh and tasty. Not a lot of options here in Skagway but I'd come back. Read more

This place has so much charm. From the outside it looks like it was a old saloon back in the day. The inside has been remodeled... and everything is super clean. The service was super quick for it being the middle of the day with 3 cruise ships in port. Superimpressed! The food was pretty good and the best part of my dish was the garlic truffle fries. The salmon sandwich was decent aswell, maybe a little overpriced. Great view of the mountains from the table. Recommend this place if your coming in on cruiseship... it's worth your time! Their menu overall looked relatively yummy. Their beer selection was really nice and others in myparty enjoyed their drinks. Read more

Only another pint of Skagway brewing beer beats the first pint of its beer. After a not so long drive into town, the first thing... is to drop everything else and get a cold pint of their beer! Best way to start your stay in Skagway. Read more

Great atmosphere for laid back food. It's worth every penny. I got the 2112 burger and my girlfriend got Mac and Cheese. Both... things were really good. We also got a beer taste tester to try the spruce tip. Their homemade root beer was BOMB! Definitelythe best root beer ever. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Read more
