Went for happy hour (half price drinks and food.limited selections) with friends, food and prices was good.
An elegant bar and restaurant serving very very good martinis. We ordered the Diva, Grand lemon drop and Louie's cosmo which... did not disappoint at all. The cosmo and lemon drop were some of the best ones I've ever had. The ambience, the customerssitting at the bar and bar staff made the experience even more enjoyable and relaxing. We will have to make sure we make it forhappy hour next time since their martinis are half off! Read more
I can?t even comprehend how rude and nasty the staff were at this establishment. We were staying in the hotel the bar was... located in and noticed the sign on the door stating they closed at 1am while checking. We arrived at 12:30am and found a maleworker cleaning the bar area. We sat down at the bar and he turned and yelled ?bars closed? then pointed at the door as hewalked away. He didn?t even stop to answer any of our questions. Confused and shocked by the rudeness. We walked to the hotelcheck in desk to question why there was a sign that stated they closed at 1am. While waiting for the receptionist I walked backto the bar Louie door just to inform them that the sign up still says 1am closing time. A female worker was walking to the frontand I explained what the sign says and that it should be taken down as not to confuse customers. I walked out to get the signand give it to the lady and a different male worker looked me in the face and angrily locked the door as I was attempting toopen it. Completely appalled by his behavior and attitude I just placed the sign back on the door and walked away. I will becontacting corporate Monday morning with my grievance. Read more
Surprisingly elegant bar & restaurant inside the Holiday Inn & Suites Chicago North Shore, Skokie, IL. It's also where the... hotel provides their breakfast. The drinks are great. Very cool late night spot. Service is always great. Parking is ample. Lots and lots of TV's to catch... whatever game is going on. Food comes out fast and fresh. Typical bar food menu. I got the spinach and artichoke dip with chipsand it was great. There are many different types of beers on tap including local craft beers. Menu is priced moderately. Thereare daily specials which are great. Read more
3 bartenders half a bar and wait 15 min for a drink. Like I said bar is not even half full but the dj is blasting the music so... loud you can't hear yourself think. Food was mediocre and cold. Employees were friendly that is the only reason I gave it 2stars Read more
