On Jul /3/22, Saturday I ordered a porterhouse steak for $30+, medium cooked but I got super well done no pink no red center... My disabled friend requested steak, and I had a gift card so... a no-brainer, right? Weather was abysmal but I drove several... miles, ordering two six-ounce medium steak dinners with mashed potato, broccoli and mixed veggies. $34. Well it's a treat; gottado that once in a while... Got lucky and found parking,it's tough after six in West Ridge. Knew I'd have to warm things up,take-out rarely is edible when you return, so I prepped for that and preparing steak etc. such that my friend could enjoy it. Noproblemo, right? ...opening the (smaller than last time) containers I found..no au jus that I'd requested, two obviously burntchunks of meat, two containers of mashed Baked? potato with skins, broccoli (ok) and "mixed veggies" consisting of badly slicedcarrots and green and yellow some kind of veg... and a small loaf? of dark rye bread. A disaster. Medium steak, IIRC, issposeta have a Pink center. Mashed potatoes should not be stiff little mounds of Baked Idaho and mixed veggies...different.Totally unacceptable. Way overcooked steak, tough. Time to tap redial. Done. Refund and apologies. So I massaged the potatoes,Mom never made ' em like that; got out the Better Than Bullion Low Sodium, carved the steaks up into small pieces and put allthat on a low flame; trimmed the broccoli to make florets and ignored the mixed whatever veggies. Everything got eaten but itwas absolutely disappointing. My advice: want steak? Visit Denny's instead. Less expensive, tastier and tender (last time we atethere) and really nice waitstaff. This location constantly under cooks my steak even though I request it to be well done I had to been hospitalized while pregnant... TWICE Due to them being careless with my food . We decided to order our children some pasta from there ( one with shrimp oneWITHOUT because one of our children are TERRIBLY ALLERGIC TO SHRIMP) they put SHRIMP ON BOTH AND NOW MY 7 year old child is inthe hospital BARELY BREATHING. When I called the store the manager on duty said it was nothing he could do. & when I asked totalk to the GM HE SAID SHE WAS OUT . The ? manager? was rude & had no sympathy for the mistake THEY MADE. I WILL TRY CALLING INTHE MORNING FOR A MANAGER IF NOT PLEASE BELIEVE YOU GUYS WILL BE HEARING FROM OUR LAWYER! Read more
We had a great experience in this restaurant! We ordered the blooming onion to enjoy with our beer and it took a little longer... to come. We really didnt mind! The manager came to say we wouldnt be charged for it because they took long. Be nice people? weare in a pandemic and workers are all stressed out!! I saw they didnt have enough staff so I try to be more nice! Be nice toothers, try to understand that we are in hard times and a pandemic.. more love, less hate! Peace! Read more
Great place to have a nice, juicy and tender steak, I had the New York steak with the loaded baked potato and boy! This is some... of the best I've ever had, sorry, I was so into it that I forgot to take a picture before I ate it but my empty plate says itall ? Great service. Read more
Prime Rib was average at best. Expected it cooked Pittsburg style, it wasn?t. Waitress was nice, 2 stars.
