Very nice food and ambiance.
Seeing the reviews of this place it seems people either love it or hate it. Unfortunately I fall in the latter category. I... really had high expectations of this place. It is a small charming cafe with lovely outside seating as well. We had a school artevent here. We ordered the lentil soup and paninis and waited nearly 50 minutes. The water offered was tepid. The lentil soupcame with a thick slice of buttered toast, the only saving grace. The lentil soup had a raw lentil taste to it, no salt, noflavor. The paninis were nearly burnt. Again, no salt no flavor. I hate to leave food leftover but I just couldn't eat it. Theservice was substandard. Not a welcoming feel. I'm glad others enjoyed it but I will not be going back. This is one of the most welcoming and relaxing atmosphere family owned coffee shops you can go to. The Julius Meinel coffee is... exceptionally great, and they have much more than coffee & tea ?????? including fresh homemade soups and serval different typesof hot/healthy food plates. Also ice cream, fresh baked pastries, cakes, pies and of course cold brew coffee???? A really sweetn pleasant place to visit whether you?re just grabbing lunch or staying longer to relax/read/work.
