We were out for the day, and stopped here to eat. We were blown away, the service was incredible! Our server was Alicia, she was... so pleasant and on top of it from beginning to end. To go included hot brown, fried pickles, salad and turkey wrap. Everything was just fine with the order. Some additional notes:... the mornay sauce for the hot brown was lacking sauce and not as rich in flavor as expected. The cheese over powered the sauce.This could have been due to the fact that it was take out and not directly fresh. Either way it was good! Just not great. Thesalad was enormous and delicious! We ate there twice once for lunch and once for dinner. The chicken fingers meal was really good & seasoned mashed potatoes were... excellent, and I had the hot brown.. pretty good ???? next day we had the fish dinner and the fish sandwich.. the fish was veryfresh and the bun was toasted. Onion rings were pretty good, But coleslaw must have come straight from a container & not good,the fresh vegetables were not appetizing we're still too crunchy & dry. Sandstone is the most fantastic place to dine in the Natural Bridge area. Conveniently, it is located near the visitor center... and resort. They have a large open dining room featuring several chandeliers and a gorgeous forest view. The staff was friendlyand took care of my 16-person party with ease, promptly bringing the food out. The menu selection is tremendous as they offerfamous items like the Kentucky Hot Brown, made from local meat. I enjoyed the vegan option of an Impossible burger and fries.They also provide various wines and spirits if you?re looking for a drink. Read more

Located in Natural Bridge State Park and within the Hemlock Lodge, the restaurant has great views and superior service to make... up for the outdated decor. I had a flavorful Hot Brown and a waitress that always made sure I never ran out of iced tea! Sheeven gave me a "to go" cup. Prices were reasonable as well. Read more
