This Cheddar's stinks, and not due to its name. I wish I didn't even have to leave a star, they get NONE. They gave my toddler... broccoli on a dirty plate that we couldn't tell was dirty, until I remove the broccoli to put into a to-go container that wedidn't take to-go after their dirt was exposed. The dirty plate had something that looked like barbecue sauce and a dirty saucefinger print. I feel discusted that my baby ate from the filth of this restaurant. They also serve me old broccoli that wasbrown, like it was sitting around for days. Customer service was terrible. Stinky Cheddar's never has to worry about usreturning again. Down Home Good Cooking with perfect sized portions! Staff is attentive but not to the point of overkill. Our sever passed by our... table several times without asking if everything was good and when our drinks were getting low new refills magically appearedwithout asking. The food was hot, plentiful, and delicious! Family atmosphere or date night you can't beat Cheddar's. Threeadults paid $65 including tip. I love the environment. My favorite meal to order is the cornmeal white fish with a side of broccoli & corn. You can?t pass out... the butter croissants with a side of strawberry lemonade. The server we had on our last visit was top notch I wish I couldremember his name. Read more

Wow!! My hubby and I were DELIGHTED to find this place!!! First we got the TRIO SAMPLER and cup of Red Beans & Rice it was all... really, really good. The MONTE CRISTO came next- (he?s been looking for a good one of these babies since Bennigan?s in Jackson,MS?30 years ago) it was delicious and perfectly cooked. Was going to order the ribs and a steak for our entree choices but noway could we eat even what we got!! Huge portions and excellent prices. To be as picky and critical as we both are, stillwondering how we didn?t know this place was here! EXCELLENT CHOICE!! 5 stars even though the hostess ?got distracted? and seated3-4 groups ahead of us. Can?t take a star from this establishment owner for an employee?s personal issues.
