The energy here is always on point! Bo and all of the other servers are fantastic, refilling drinks before theyre finished,... solving problems (like the sun in my eyes) before I even have a second to think about complaining, smiling and laughing with mytable - not to mention the food tastes great! Update, returned at 7 pm. 10/23/2022 We stood at the door waiting to be seated, for 10 minutes, someone came around finally and... told us, there would be at least a 20 minute waiting period, before we could be seated. The place couldn't have been 20% ofcapacity, if that much.....it was empty! My wife asked what the problem was, the reply was the same. I didn't let speedy finishwhat he was saying, and told my wife, "lets go somewhere, they would appreciate customers". We went to Phil's Marina Cafa,instead. It was delicious, thank you Speedy for sending us away. Oh by the way, they had about the same amount of customers andwe were seated and taken care of immediately. "Hey Speedy, The wattress got a $20.00 tip for 15 minutes of walking" So, Chili'smoved way down on the list ( of places to go) with their dirty floors. ....forget the orginal review, that when likethis.....Great Price for the quality of the food. The service was above and beyond. The food, was delicious. I will be returningmore often. But, the place is outdated, it has ground-in dirt. The restroom has that soaked in pee smell. The front doors are inneed of paint. The walls need painting. I was sitting at a booth and thought at first, someone blew their nose on the wall, butlooking a little harder, I could see it was just all chipped up and missing paint. I have seen barns with cleaner and betterlooking floors. Not that the employees are not cleaning them, they are so worn out, they are permanently nasty. 10/18/2022 The host/hostess walked us around in a big circle of empty, clean tables before sitting us at the first table we had... passed. (Was kind of weird) Our waitress took our order, brought out the drinks, then she brought out the two appetizers. Butfor some reason, a different waitress brought out our main meal that had the wrong fries and there was globs of butter on thebuns of our two Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Our waitress fixed the mix up with the fries by bringing out the correct stylefries that we ordered. But they were over cooked and not so fresh. Througout our entire time in the restaurant, ALL the staffmembers were coming out of the kitchen (not all at once) standing on either side of the entrance to the kitchen, staring only atthe 3 people at my table. The host stared the most. She stared so much that my 13 year old son had to switch seats due to thediscomfort, this put his back towards the kitchen. Now he and I were facing the double doors entrance/exit. Then the hostdecided to come to clean the glass on those double doors. And the other waitress that brought out our main meal decided to comeact like she was doing something on the computer at the host podium/station. I ended up asking the host was everything okaybecause she continued to stare me in my face while she was holding a conversation with that other waitress on the computer. Wefelt so uncomfortable that we put everything in to-go plates and attempted to leave. But before leaving I wanted to get apicture of the sign hanging between the two double doors. (Because it had my little sister's first and last name on it. I wantedto send it to her) The other waitress (the one that brought out our main meal) followed us, reopened and held the double doorsbehind us smiling and laughing, asking was everything okay. Someone tell me how they stay in existence? But, let's get to facts. Not opinion. Steak cooked well. New Steak barely cooked. It... was seared on each side. No seasoning. Food was good. Server was attentive. The whole dining experience was ruined by the hostess. We were told that we would need to... wait 15 minutes for a table because the kitchen was backed up. This makes no sense whatsoever. If the kitchen is backed up wecan still sit and order drinks while waiting for our food. How the evening started: We walked in was told we needed to wait 15minutes. There was no one else in line and plenty of empty tables. The hostess then asked for my name and cell number to put itin the system. The whole time we waited the busboy was also there just standing around when there was plenty of tables to clean.I asked if we could sit at a table while we wait and was told that we had to wait at the front. When are ?time was up? shelooked around the waiting room and called my name, but again we were the only ones there. I was confused by who else she waslooking for in the room. The young blonde girl who sat us at our table plainly & out loud said "I really don't like working here" after we told her about... 1 of the doors as u walk in slamming on 1 of Us hitting their back because the spring latch didn't work properly to slowly shutdoor. We were afraid of what kind of service We would get after that but We got a gentleman waiter who BLEW my kids mind 2xwith his magic tricks, mind u my kids are 15,13 & 10... We got the 2 for $25. Chips and salsa, chicken fajitas, and cheese cake (get the cheese cake!) and the kids got Mac n cheese. It... was all really great. Also tried the spider bite it was good but had a weird reaction to it after a few sips... my face wentnumb and had a tight chest making it hard to breathe, almost felt like a panic attack?
