Oh. My. Goodness. I couldn't decide which I wanted to try so I got a small red beans and rice and a small gumbo. Holy hell... ... not sure which is better. DELICIOUS!! Hubs got the Po Little Rich Boy and there's nothing but "mmm" coming from his side of thetable. My daughter got the shrimp fettuccine and says it's delish too. Service is amazing too. Restaurant was clean and very good service. I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the crawfish fries. I ordered the 7"... Shrimp Boot - good amount of shrimp and they were fantastic, the fried green tomatoes were yummy and the remoulade sauce had alittle kick to it, which I loved. My hubby ordered the Black & Gold and it was equally good. The fried shrimp were justexcellent. I got the sense that anything you order here will be consistent and delicious. For a small place that used to be a fast food joint and still has a drive through this place is a diamond. We had 4 different... dishes tonight and all of them were excellent. Huge portions. A 12" poboy dwarfs a 12" sub from Subway. I had the fish,shrimp, and oyster plate with fries and cole slaw. It was cooked perfectly. Pic below is half gone. The music was on but notloud, the wait staff was attentive but not overbearing. We will go back for sure. Read more
I really recommend this restaurant in Slidell, Louisiana. It's very cozy with New Orleans style decor. All their menu is... delicious. My husband and I love their sandwiches and our favorite is Jazzy Pete's Po-Boys. Their fry shrimps butterfly style isso so good. Ms Debbie is our favorite server. She's very professional, sweet and knowledgeable of their menu. Read more
We come to Louisiana to eat?this place is a hidden gem! Everything we got was ah-mazing! Some of the best pizza-boys we?ve ever... had! The French bread is baked fresh daily and is SO good! Clean, family friendly and helpful service. We?d eat here weekly ifwe lived in the area!! We suggest getting an order of the onion rings to share with the po-boys. Read more
