This place is a hidden gem. the staff is friendly, the food is great, but one of my favorite aspects is the atmosphere. It feels... high end with out being pretentious. Great for a date night, or a random stop for some great food, and delicious desserts. Read more
We arrived around 5pm on a Friday and it was already a bit busy. It's a small restaurant with maybe 20 - 25 tables that seat 4... each. Our table tech (server) was Denise C. and was fabulous, she assisted the 5 of us on the menu choices. Appetizers werefried green tomatoes and eggplant. Then 2 of us had the sampler (soup and gumbo) as main course- which all were hand made notbox, red beans and rice w/ smoked sausage (home made) and a club sandwich was great and then a Italian salad great dressing. Great service and food. Local favorite for breakfast. I usually get biscuits and gravy but they have everything for breakfast.... My mom she loved loved loved this place they do eggs really well. Family favorite and local favorite will go back. Insideambiance is definitely a Louisiana feel with space for little ones. Read more
