Went on a busy Saturday morning, around 8am. It is a small place, so just be aware of that. You may not be able to sit with a... whole group of 8, there just isn't room. Mostly tables of 4. And a small counter. Food was superb and very inexpensive - twodrinks and two breakfasts for about $15! Picture is the corned beef hash. Didn't try the famous cinnamon rolls, but they arehuge! This used to be a town staple but now it is very much not that. My friend used to work here and even when my friend wasn't... cooking the food was pretty good. Now the food is never consistent the cook just makes your food how she wants to. Hate goingthere on the weekends because I know I'm going to have to deal with the register lady who in fact is completely rude. She eitherneeds to quit or retire. The past couple times I've been in there I've been rushed and practically pushed out the door won't bestopping back for a while, Or until the register lady quits lol. Read more
A good place to get some breakfast. I had the vegetable omelet and a sweet bun. Both were yummy. The omelet was not all that... out of the usual, but completely yummy. It came with good home fries. This is a college town staple. The food is good and inexpensive with large portion sizes. The wait to get in on a Saturday or... Sunday can be a bit long but that is due to local popularity. Breakfast is served all day and honestly it is all I've evertried because that is what I want when I go. I'm sure their other food is good though. It has that quaint small town feel anda practical atmosphere for practical people. If nothing else, have a cup of coffee and a cinnamon roll as you travel through. Read more
