Really enjoyed the Salmon Tataki: Delicious thinly sliced cajun dusted salmon, lightly seared then served with spicy mayo.

Love going here but we were rushed out during our recent visit even though we had a reservation. Apparently the reason being... was that a large group came in and our table was needed to seat them all. The restaurant was full at the time. Read more

Excellent higher-end sushi and ramen restaurant. High prices but excellent quality and good selection. Staff were polite and... helpful and good atmosphere in central location. Read more

I was super excited to have some sushi... But when the food came it was just pricey disappointment. Usually Blue Water is good.... This time though everything was lacking in flavour- like all the right components were there but they forgot an essential part?Anyway, the food sucked but the service was good. Read more

I had people tell me it was the BEST sushi ever. Sorry but it's good, not great. I've had better. And beyond disappointed in... my absolute fav takoyaki. You butchered it and it was so gross. The rolls I ordered were good. Decent tasting. I wouldorder rolls again but never takoyaki. Either make it properly or remove it from your menu because you'll give yourself aterrible reputation for that alone. You ruin one thing, you ruin it all. Read more

We ordered take out, and I was so so excited for sushi and this was unfortunately a let down. The yam rolls are $8.00 each, but... are mostly rice (pictured) i was shocked that they were served with such little filling. I did choose to have them without mayo, but that does not excuse the severe lack of yam! The avocado rolls were much better balanced. Gyoza was fine, but the takoyakiwere like the yam rolls - very underfilled!! One tentacle in one ball (pictured). Oishi roll was also just ok. I don?t thinkwe?ll be returning, sadly, as the prices just don?t equal the servings we received ???? Definitely would recommend going intothe restaurant to dine before getting take out as there is a chance to rectify any disappointment! The staff were very friendlywhen I was in, though and the restaurant is beautiful and clean! Read more

Friendly server and sushi chef. Server identified the Spicy Volcano roll displayed in a menu pic. Sushi chef later asked me if I... liked it, which I did. A perfect complement to my Prawn Udon. Minus 1 star because the prawns were not of the quality I am usedto in Vancouver. Read more

Extraordinary tasting sushi! Blue water has a warm welcome strait as you enter the door. Hearing great things around town. I had... to check it out. The restaurant is fairly big, and beautiful at best. You have a choice to sit at a table or a bar. I wouldhighly recommend sitting at the bar if your dining by your self as you get to see the amazing chefs at hard work cookingdelicious food. Great for the family or a date for your special one. Service is amazing! With many different and unique typesof sushi, salads, and soups there?s never a lack of variety. My personal favourite is the Volcano. Not sure what?s in it but Igot a great pic! Everything I had tasted was spectacular and even at the busiest of times the longes wait was 15 minutes. I?mdefinitely coming back, you should check it out. What would I ever do with out you ... ????
