Double Barley Brewing has been around since 2013 and continues to be a disruptor in its space. They offer good bar bites and... have a good beer selection. The atmosphere is laid back, and they allow dogs. Read more

Visited Double Barley on a whim last week with a friend who isn?t a big beer drinker. Josh was AMAZING and made us feel so... welcome! When he realized she had never been to a brewery before he explained the beers on the menu and even gave us a tour ofthe facility! We got the pretzel with beer cheese and mustard to share and it was phenomenal. I cannot recommend this placeenough! Thank you Josh and Double Barley Brewing for making our day out so memorable! We always have a great experience here. Food trucks or the kitchen. Brews are cold and delicious. The live music draws us here... often! Read more

Super laid back, friendly and attentive Stagg! No tasting flights, no worries though it's all delish. Ambience inside is very... relaxing-cool-vibe. There's an over ample outside area too and u can bring your favoriteb4 legged drinking buddy with. Normally they have a few of the local food trucks, but it was memorial day weekend, so they cancelled. I had the seasonalstrawberries beer and followed it with a peaches and cream. Delish and lite and very cold! Great for hit summer drinking. Read more

Food menu was nowhere near as extensive or appetizing as their website indicated when we visited. Many locals were there and... seemed to love the place. The beer was decent. I liked the Once You Go Blonde. Good prices. However, when I asked the bartenderto describe a couple different beers, he couldn't. When I expressed we were new to the brewery, he offered no information aboutthe brewery or recommendations regarding beer- even when we were clearly unsure of what to order. As a small brewery, I foundthis disappointing since I had an interest in learning more about them. The bartender didnt check on us once but spent hisentire time talking to locals that he clearly knew well. Beautiful outdoor space. So good for locals. Not so much for newcomers.Very disappointed in the experience but could appreciate the beer. Read more

Traveling through the area and detoured for beer with a side of lunch. Open during COVID-19 but, patronage and staffing was... very light. The beers were a bit hit or miss, the amber and blonde ales were excellent. The vanilla and pumpkin (off season)porters were over spiced for my liking. The triple IPA surprisingly smooth and not overpowered with biterness. The food menuwasn't current with the website and was definitely subpar to the beers especially with the price consideration (beer cheap; foodexpensive). In summary, if a short detour and you just want a couple of beers consider stopping. IF, you need a meal more thana beer (Possible?) then I'd suggest you continue your search. Read more

We decided to check this place out because it?s not far from where we just moved. We are from Charleston SC and like to check... out different breweries. This place had a great atmosphere, good bear, and the manager was a really nice guy and informativeabout beer. They had great music playing and we felt super chill. We will definitely be back!
