First time here and I am very disappointed. First of all it took forever to get our food, then when I got my order I was very... disappointed. The brisket was hard to chew and the closest thing I can relate it to is beef jerky, trying to chew it was exactlylike eating beef jerky. The bun for my burger was mostly hard, I probably could have thrown it through my truck window. The Macand cheese was okay, but it tasted like the boxed Mac and cheese that you can get in the frozen section of Walmart. Read more

I had a fairly good experience at TSS. Service: Excellent service from sitting down to getting up. Food: I consumed the Texas... signature salad. Crispy croutons topped leafy greens. Tender chicken paired with fresh red onion and juicy tomatoes sprinkledwith cheese confetti. Hygiene: The restaurant was fairly clean they get a star for that. I took my fiancé to the Smithfield location. We ordered the Appetizer and it was good. So We placed our order I asked the... waitress if I could get a steak with the BBQ sampler I even said if their is an up charge it?s ok. That meal you can get 3-4Different BBQ meats with corn and one side. She came back and said that I can get a steak as one of the meets per her shiftleader along with smoked brisket and half rack of ribs. So about 15 min later the waitress came to me and said when she put inthe order that the restaurant manager said that that substitution couldn?t be done. So I told her to give me a double order ofbrisket and half rack of ribs. I got 2 pieces of brisket so dry and hard and the meat on the ribs was so over cooked itcrumbled. So I called the waitress over and told her to take it back and to removed it from my bill. I couldn?t wait Any longerfor more food as we had somewhere else to be. My fiancé ordered the steak and half rack of ribs and the ribs was so dry shecouldn?t eat them. One thing that irritated me the most is that the manger that made the call to not honor what I wanted andwas told that it could happen wouldn?t even show his/her face. My meal due to this situation was the appetizer that we got. Allcorrespondence was communicated through the waitress that has only been working there two weeks I?m very good when it come toBBQ and this was so disappointing and I will never eat at the establishment again. The experience was amazing. I took my mother out for mother's day. Although they were packed, we were seated at the bar! To my... surprise the service was excellent. Cannot fathom how this place has over 3 stars, unless I went at a terrible time. The only redeeming part is that the staff was... not rude, but in terms of food, one of the worst dining experiences I?ve had in any restaurant. I would recommend the nearbyGolden Corral before you eat here and that is saying something. The clearly microwaved appetizers were still cold, my steak wasraw, the bathrooms were flooded and disgusting. Please, save yourself, you have so many other mediocre chain options nearby. My family and I came for lunch. I was skeptical as soon as I walked through the door. The setup of the restaurant is weird. It... was also dark and cold. I order the fish dinner with asparagus and a baked potato. My daughter had chicken tenders with Mac ncheese and my husband had a steak, broccoli and baked potato. The asparagus was slimy so I sent that back. The server asked if Iwanted a replacement I told her no. My daughter's chicken tenders tasted like they were cooked in old grease. The mac n cheesewas horrible I told the server it didn't taste good so she replaced it with fries they were horrible too. My husband said thesteak was just ok. Was out this way shopping decided why not check them out for the 1st time. Was not busy on a Monday around 5pm ish. Food was ok.... Waiter was super nice and kept up with refills and service. Saved it from a 3 star. Bathrooms were clean. Salad was good.Asparagus needed flavor. Loaded Potatoes was not impressive. The steaks were good. But not cooked by our order. Medium well wascloser to Medium rare. I don't do blood and my steak had plenty. First cut looked good and next cut I was like yeah no this isnot right.
