I finally tried Jersey Mike's this week (the one on Branch Ave in Providence). It was much tastier than I expected based on... comments from friends who weren't thrilled with it. I like to try things myself though and I'm glad I did! I found the comboclub I got yummy. However, I think I can understand why my friends weren't happy with their sandwiches though. I ate mine rightafter it was prepared and before I was through it was starting to get a little soggy. I'd recommend skipping the Juice if youwon't be eating your sandwich right away. Went there on 05/22/22 in the late afternoon with my girlfriend. The two guys working were very friendly and efficient. Give... them extra points for keeping their professionalism and composure when the woman behind us decided to play a ?Karen? card.Ordered two sandwiches, said she wanted two Italians, one ?her way?, and then proceeded to watch the guy make both sandwichesbefore telling him she didn?t want it that way. I phoned in an order on probably the busiest day of the year. (All sales proceeds donated to Special Olympics) Trust me they... said 30 minutes till pick up and it was well worth the wait two fold, one is we had awesome sandwiches and two proceeds going to a great cause!!! Read more
I don't know what they do to those green peppers, pickle them maybe? In any case, I'm going to find out and do that to my green... peppers because it adds about 10,000 points of awesome to their chicken portabella grinder (Rhode Island, it's a grinder insteadof a sub.) Four stars because I like my onions sliced on the thicker side and theirs are more shoestring style. Just apreference thing. If you get one of the huge grinders don't bother getting chips. Brand new location... got a real Yummy #3 today! Friendly employees greeted us at the counter. Slow prep line even with 3 people... working the counter and one on grill, though. Nice clean ladies room, but the tables definitely needed wiping down betweencustomers. I'd pop in here again to see if some things change ... Read more
Worst sandwich shop locally. The first time I ordered here (some kind of chicken with bacon etc.) the sandwich was soaking wet... and bread was mush. Last night rolled the dice again and got this pathetic BLT. The sandwich was fraudulent in terms ofingredients, The ends that were eaten before this picture had even less bacon lettuce and tomato then shown here. Jersey Mike'sdoesn't deserve your business.
