Stopped here for a quick rest from a Motorcycle ride and man am I glad I did! I was seated pretty quickly for a weekend. I had... the chicken and waffles with a strawberry Awful Awful. Honestly, it was the best waffle and chicken combo I've ever had in mylife! The waffle was perfectly down and the chicken was to die for lol. The Awful Awful was so good. Perfect all across theboard! when i questioned the tender about the quality of their orange juice. She exclaimed, ?are you serious right now bro? with a... fresh and sassy tone. This surprised me because I am not physically allowed to intake a great amount of pulp due to my bodilycondition. I am greatly offended and do not recommend coming here. They had a promotion running for some kind of spooky milkshake option that had a little ghost decoration on top. I wanted a... different ice cream, but still kinda (really) wanted to see what the ghost looked like. I asked if I could have a ghost on myice cream. 3.75 stars! Service was awesome! Desserts and ice cream and milkshakes were awesome! Clam chowder was pretty disappointing,... mostly just broth and nothing in it. Had an interesting taste to it that I couldn't identify. Wasn't a fan of it. My daughterhad a chicken quesadilla and she said it was amazeballs! Newport creamery is a RI icon. Sad some have closed but grateful some have remained open. The manager waited on us while we... ordered our sundaes to go. He was knowledgeable and friendly. The icecream was good and fresh. A bit disappointed they don'thave the "cowlick" anymore or the buy one get one Monday awful awful. Bring these back please. Read more
