What a freaking gem!! This has to be one of the best restaurants in Smithfield and a new favorite after dining here last night.... My experience from start to finish was absolutely what you want when you go out to eat. Had reservations for the 8 person iglooand was sat promptly which is always nice. My first impression of the inside of the restaurant was that it had perfect lighting, clean, warm and inviting. Walking out to the patio I was even more impressed by the overall vibe from the fireplace to the flameheaters the music was just right, loved the overhead string lights it was just all awesome. Eating in the igloo was such a coolnew experience and the little heaters inside did a great job keeping it warm and cozy. The real treat of the night though wasour waiter Matt. He was honestly my favorite server I've ever had in my life!! What a fun personality along with kind, attentiveservice..he really made the night a memorable experience. Started off with the hummus appetizer, absolutely delicious and freshand my margarita was spot on 10/10 ,so good I had 3 :-D. I ordered the harvest salad with chicken and that too was fabulous.Everyone enjoyed their dinners as well which is excellent when no one has any complaints. I'm so happy to have given Terrazza atry on a whim because it's fabulous and I can't wait to go back again soon !! Read more

Had calamari, brussel sprouts, hummus as appetizers and they were all tasteful and well prepared. Ordered the NY sirloin as... entree and it was cooked on point, the sides were also very tasteful. All other ordered plates looked good and guests said theywere also delicious. Good service. Read more

The good: We enjoyed the warm igloo and the service was really good. It cannot be easy for waiters to go back and forth, zip and... unzip the igloo. So kudos for picking the incredible staff. I hope you pay them very well and show them appreciation. The notso good: Sadly food. We had mussels sambuca and the sauce was thick, nauseously sweet and we found a few spoiled mussels. We arenot the kind of guests that make scene so we politely put them to side and said nothing. (The rule is, if mussel is closed don'teat it, it was dead before you cooked it. These were cracked so not obvious.) The mixed grill was served on a large plate fullof fries, gummy instant rice and flavorless steamed vegetable (broccoli, green beans). You only get two skewers of meat(chicken and steak) and garlic mayo. The meat portion is fine for a teen girl, but not a grown man. You are supposed to fill onfries (which are very good and crunchy). Burger was fine, and at $15 probably the best bet. Seafood Papardelle was a nice dishwith the understated Parmesan sauce and perfectly cooked pasta. I have to say I was nervous about the freshness of the seafoodafter the appetizer but the mussels in this one are placed open around the perimeter of the plate, so they were fine. The shrimpwere good consistency, not too gummy. This was the best dish we had at this outing. Dessert was tres leches and tiramisu, bothexcellent. Tiramisu was a tad too moist and cut in a sloppy fashion probably due to the wetness, but the presentation on theplate with the chocolate sauce was on par. Bad: Prices. $28-$30 for the most main dishes and $45 for the fillet Mignon. A plateof flavorless hummus and stale pita was $11. This is not NYC and the food is just not that good to command those prices. Weunderstood that we were paying for the igloo and the excellent serve (automatic gratuity included), more than for food. If youare fine with that, by all means go and enjoy yourself. The place is beautiful. I really ju Read more

Sitting in the "igloo" concept is nice. The "igloo" offers a very intimate dining experience. However, there is a $100 spending... minimum in order to obtain an outside "igloo." The wait staff and hostess were great. They were friendly, attentive, andreliable. It was certainly a pleasure dealing with the staff. I felt that the food and drinks were okay. Personally they weren'tmy favourite. Note, I eat a plant based diet and could not try many items on the menu. I tasted a few of their appetizers anddrinks. The atmosphere is classy and despite not personally being a fan of the food; it wouldn't be a bad idea to give it a tryif you are in the area. Read more
