On 12-3 I made a delivery order from the Smithfield, Utah location. I made the order at 3:00 and marked that I wanted it... delivered at 5:45. I received a text at 5:30 that the pizza had left the store. The pizza arrived at 6:05. That means the pizzawas on the road for 35 minutes. I live one mile from the store. I ordered online hours in advance hoping the delivery would bemore efficient and that the food would arrive on time--ordering in advance should make it possible to compensate forunanticipated rushes. Soooooo frustrating! I ordered here a year ago and my food took almost 2 hours. Was hoping that they were just having an off... day. I ordered again tonight. Got a text that it was out for delivery 45 minutes ago. I love about 4 miles from the store ifthat! I called and was immediately told at 7 p.m. that they would not be delivering any orders if I wanted an order I would haveto come get it. This is the first time I ordered on line. I checked my order 3 times but my order arrived without the wings I had ordered. The... dipping sauce is there but no wings. So I had to reorder it. Question, if... you add a tip to your order and want it delivered, who are you expecting your tip to go to? Let me explain what this location isdoing with your tip. When you place an order over the phone or through their website, pizza hut will sometimes contract out yourdelivery to Door Dash. If you tip ahead of time, pizza hut has complete control over your tip and WILL keep it for themselves.Your driver could be wondering why you didn't tip when in fact you did tip and meant that tip to go to the person who deliveredyour pizza.
