The food was great, the workers on the other hand were absolutely miserable. I've never seen an employee at cash so fedup... before. Rolling their eyes, shaking their head, not giving anyone the time of day. Not welcoming what's-so-ever. Not sure if itwas a bad afternoon for all of them but they all looked tired and grumpy. Visiting in Smith Falls- Swiss Chalet was near the motel we launched that. Ordered the quarter chicken dinner with white meat,... chicken was done to perfection as was the baked potato. Ordered a side order of salad which was fresh and crisp! Friendlyhelpful staff who did the best to put together a wonderful meal even though late in the day. Note that if you want a bakedpotato make sure that they still have it as they seem to go quickly. Great job to the staff working on Sunday evening- hopefullymanagement will recognize their efforts. This is the best Harvey's ever i love it , drinks are cold and refreshing , the beef burger is nice a juicer with large fries... are always hot and fresh and crunchy. this is my second time going there and they haven't disappoint. Read more
My wife's meal was awesome. She really enjoyed her deep fried pickles and her poutine. But I was not very impressed with my... Buffalo Chicken Burger combo. The burger was cold and I started eating it just two minutes after receiving it. I almost broughtit back, but we were in a rush. However, I have to say, I did love the fries and they were nice and hot. We ate our meal whilesitting in our car in the parking lot of the Harvey's Restaurant. I was contacted by the Restaurant in question. Theyapologized and more than fairly addressed the issue. The replacement burger was very good and so much better than the last one. Read more
Had chicken wrap. I wish the wrap was cooked better. Good friendly service. Friends were happy with the burger combo.
My family has gone to Harvey's twice in the past year and both times have been awful. The first time I felt very sick after... eating one of their burgers, which should of been a good enough reason not to go back. The second time was this evening. Myburger was black, like black... Almost ash. There is no way anyone should of served that. My wife's burger was also wayovercooked but not to the extent of mine. The fries had an odd taste to them so we ended up throwing everything out. We'velearnt our lesson this time, never again. I also try to call the restaurant multiple times and no one picked up. Poor service, waited about 30 minutes for an undercooked burger. Another twenty minutes to get another. A whole lineup of people... came and went while we waited. Haven't been to a Harvey's in years, but the food is still tasty for a quick meal. Enjoy the customization of adding the... toppings of your choice to your sandwich, burger, or wrap. Only downfall this visit was that the milkshake machine was down -the salted caramel shake sounded delicious! Read more
