Went there for a baby shower,the servers were professional, friendly, treated everyone as if we knew them for years. I love... about 30 minutes away and would still be willing to go back for a nice date night. Great service Evan our server was fantastic and the seafood was exquisite sauteed calamari was nice and tender like butter, the... scungill melts in your mouth, pasta cognac was quite the thrill and the veal parmsean was paper thin and yummy just like itshould be. I dined here Sunday night with family. The table decided on the family style option and I had let the waiter know that I have a... severe gluten allergy (I have celiac) and that I would like to order a salad separate to the family style option to ensure Idon’t have an allergic reaction. The waiter mentioned that he could make majority of the dishes gluten free on the familystyle option and that he would make sure the gluten free dishes were made known to me once everything hit the table, so Itrusted what I was told and went with that option. I ate what I was told was absolutely gluten free but clearly that was not thecase because hours after dinner I began to have an allergic reaction and am still reacting days later, throwing up profusely.I’m unsure if the staff was uneducated as to what “gluten free” means or if the cooks made the food wrong but it’sextremely upsetting for me that I have been severely sick for days and had to even miss work today. Went there Saturday night Ordered clam, Good flavors but look the breadcrumbs came burned ordered Promodoro Spaghetti was... great, Wondered why Italian place but no Lamb in the menu.... Truthfully the food was decent but I don’t think it’s worth the penny. We celebrated my grandmothers birthday tonight and... for a party of 5 our bill cost an arm and a leg.All was going well until the end when the head waiter had come over asking ifthe service was good. Without hesitation we said yes despite having a majority of our salad tossed into the bread basket, havingto wait a long time for our entrees to arrive, and having to obviously indicate to the waiter that it was time to sing to mygrandmother. Long story short the head waiter told us that given the total our tip should have been more. Never in our lives hadwe been blatantly called out for the lack of amount in tip we put down. Truthfully it makes the customers feel uncomfortable andmy grandmother did not need to know the total It was her birthday for crying out loud! We all left feeling uncomfortable andabsolutely belittled. Will absolutely not be returning and would not be recommending this place to anyone. No major complaints about the food except that the baked clams were burned on top. However, the restaurant packs all the tables... in like sardines, really uncomfortable. Extremely disappointed that we were not told there were no kids meal/portions/prices.There were 6 kids in our party and we were charged $18 each for their family sized pastas. Had we been told ahead of time wewould have only ordered 2 for them to share and still would have had left over food. Did the waiter magically forget or gouge usfor a larger bill and larger tip?
