I've ate at Bumpers for years but tonight ruined my experience for life, my catfish was soggy & not cooked for all the way & to... top it for I shared a funnal cake fies with my wife until I uncovered a burnt bee under the powered sugar. The only Bumpers in TN! If May be comparable to Sonic, but other than the drive-in business model that?s where the similarities... stop. Bumpers is exponentially better in not only the food but also their customer service & speed. I don?t think I?ve ever hadto wait more than 20 mins except once when it was a really large order & it was worth the wait. The food was so hot I had towait to eat! ???? Was having a craving for a milkshake and stopped in to the best service hands down. They have a limited selection of Milkshake... flavors, however they have plenty of add ins that you can spice it up ever how you like it. And when you ask for a large, it ishuge! The atmosphere is great. The food is pricy for what you get. The vanilla ice cream (only flavor available) is very good. Its... generally compared to Sonic but with a much smaller menu. However the Sonic in our town is not very good and Bumpers is the funalternative. Read more
Really cool old school drive up spot with some good ole? all American junk food. Not a huge selection for the vegetarians, but... if you are just looking for some cheese sticks, fried pickles, French fries or ice cream, I highly recommend this place. Thestaff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They let me take the bacon off the jumping jack fries, which I appreciated. Ilook forward to going back and trying the grilled cheese and onion rings. If these guys had a veggie burger it would be theperfect place. I will be back though for sure! Read more
When I first started going here the food was good and worth the money. The past couple of months have been very disappointing, ... my order is always incorrect and last night for $11 I got a low grade hotdog where the bun stuck to the paper holder and burntfunnel cake fries that could not be eaten. This was a very disappointing trip and made me waste the funds. Not sure what's goingon but hope they reevaluate and get better again to where the quality of the food matches the prices they are charging. Read more
my husband and myself went to eat here tonight. the food was ok, nothing to write home about. the portions of the burgers were... very small for the price we paid. i even checked to make sure we didnt get over charged, which we did not. however we ate, andlearned we probably wont go back. Read more
