Was genuinely disappointed. I saw this place had 4.5 stars and was excited when I ordered 4 large pizza's. Was not to happy... about paying $60 for 4 large pizza's being that 3 of them were just pepperoni. At $15 A pizza I assumed the pizza's would bepretty good size, although that was not the case. More about the size of pizza huts medium size pizza. We ordered carry out so Ididn't get to experience the atmosphere of the bar/pizza place. Maybe that would've left a better taste in my mouth. Can'tcomplain about the staff the lady I spoke to and talked to when I got there was very nice. I will say though and this is only anopinion I think Honeys Bar would be a more suited name. The place itself looks very nice and clean. But, having pizza as thename of your restaurant with a 4.5 star rating. I expected more. Read more
I have gone here several times. I like the atmosphere, the pizza is different. I wish it were crisper but the flavors are good.... In the past the service has been good. This week when I went with a group of 5 ladies we had a waitress that I haven't hadbefore. Service was not good this time. The worst part was that she questioned us repeatedly and couldn't seem to believe wewere actually asking for straws as they are bad for the environment. She conveniently forget to bring them until we asked forthe third time. I'm pretty sure that is not part of a pleasant dining experience. That is not the time to impose yourenvironmental ideas on your customers! Read more
Outstanding example of a proper, Neapolitan style crust. Thin, charred just right with a nice bit of chewiness. The housemade... mozzarella and caramelized onions went nicely with some fresh tomato and Italian sausage. This will definitely be one of myregular road stops between Houston and Austin. Read more
Becoming what came to be called a "regular" at this amazing place has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. Home made... dough daily. From scratch mozzarella that is great all by itself or as a (caprese salad) which combines three hearty slabs of itwith tomatoes, a balsamic reduction sauce, garnished with fresh on the spot chopped basil. The greatest thing about Honey'showever without taking into account the nice Texas draft beers, is their staff. We have a truly wonderful experience...regularly ???? Read more
