Breaks my heart giving less than 5 stars to this place. Food is terrific, especially the pot roast. Best bread pudding I?ve ever... had. People who own it are delightful, servers always nice. So why 3 stars? It?s rarely open, even during regular hours whenthey say they are open we?ve gone only to find it closed. And the wait for food is extraordinary. We waited literally an hourlast time we went. They were that backed up but kept taking orders and seating people. They were apologetic and kind, but wow,it?s just not ok. I WANT to keep going back for the terrific food and lovely people, but more often than not I end up eatingelsewhere after making the drive because it?s closed, or have an extraordinarily long wait for dinner. Hands down the best food in town, made with absolute LOVE, dedication, quality ingredients and always fresh!! They are a... beautiful family business and pride themselves in being a scratch kitchen, so do not be upset if your food takes a little whileto be ready, especially if they've got a full dining room - I suggest bringing a deck of cards or board game to pass the timeand actually interact with your family and friends instead of be stuck on your phone ??
