This area is marked as a rest stop for fed rt one. There is no rest stop. There are gas stations and this Wawa a mile down the... road. This Wawa has 1 bathroom, 1 person at a time. Take that rest stop sign off the highway Delaware!!!! Read more
We go to different wawa locations at least 3-4 times a week and this wawa is one of our favorites! The staff are super friendly... and the food prep is good as well. One day my son walked into this wawa with his spiderman costume and the staff gave him themost amazing standing ovation he has every experienced! We are locals and are thankful to have such an amazing establishment inour area. Read more
I go to this location 4 days a week. It has truly become a craphole. Old dusty Halloween decorations still up. The food prep is... hit or miss. This is a very tiny location and always crowded and they have nerve to not enforce the mask mandate in effect. Thenon top of that the breakfast bowl i was given this morning for breakfast barely covered the bottom of the bowl. Up the pricesand give you less. Biggest example of price gouging. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Stopped by on our way back from Rehoboth to use the restroom. There was only one unisex... bathroom available, the other one just had cones in front of it with no actual explanation. Well I went into the bathroom andwas immediately distrusted. There was toilet paper everywhere in there, floors were very sticky, toilet was covered in feces andurine. If it wasn't for an emergency situation, I would have left. I would have rather done my business along the highway. Thesmell made me sick, and the sink was even very dirty. I understand that everywhere is short staffed right now, but I wouldrather wait an extra 10 mins to be checked out or food to be made if someone could check on and clean the bathroomsperiodically. One of the fastest food prep/service of all the Wawas I have visited and I've never had them make a mistake on a food order... either. I travel up and down delaware every day, so I've stopped at a lot of them. Only a single stall bathroom for bothgenders at this location though; the line to use it is often crazy long, especially around lunch time or anytime on the weekend. No gas at this location either. They are top notch with their staff here and I often still stop here just because they makesalads fast. Most wawas, if you order a salad, they will often forget about them or make them super slow. The workstation forsalads are often in the back with a separate computer screen so staff tend to forget about them and only focus on sandwiches. This location always makes them fast and without mistakes, so I still prefer this location for lunch despite the horriblebathroom situation. Read more
The day shift can't quite keep up with the great service given by the night shift team. The day shift locks countless menu items... for reasons unknown, not to mention the store manager seemingly not wanting to communicate customers' complaints. Often the dayshift wasn't adding extra toppings paid for and not reading the entire screen for special orders. Hopefully, this review willaid the day shift in taking the necessary steps to provide a better customer experience. The night shift is top-tier but Ideducted 2 stars because of the day shift, I will follow up on this review in three months if I see improvements. Read more
