Decided I wanted a waffle on my way home from a 14 hour shift. Called around 10:30pm to place a to go order and was told (later... to find out it was the cook) that I couldn?t place an order over the phone because I might not come and get it. Ok fine I showup at 10:45pm to place a to go order for a waffle and bacon. I placed my order and then proceeded to wait patiently for almost20-25 mins on a waffle and bacon. The cook decided he wanted to publicly chastise the waitress for which were probably simplemistakes by using profanity in front of a restaurant full of people. I then asked for a refund because I shouldn?t have had towait had the phone order just been taken so I could be about my way. The cook responded with your waffle is ready it hadn?t evenbeen down 5 mins and was still raw, and the bacon had yet to be dropped.I?ve lived in this area over 25 years and havefrequented this location a lot over the years. I stopped at this location with my daughter because we had a taste for waffles. This was my best experience at any Waffle House... location. Our server, Demaya, we very friendly. She immediately took our orders when we were seated. Both of our meals wereserved extremely fast and were fresh when she brought them out! She made sure to check in on us as we dined, plus cleaned as shewent about her tasks. We will definitely be returning soon!
