Best, affordable, delicious breakfast food ????. Service is dead slow, staffs don?t clean the tables properly once the previous... customer leaves from the table. Decided I wanted a waffle on my way home from a 14 hour shift. Called around 10:30pm to place a to go order and was told (later... to find out it was the cook) that I couldn?t place an order over the phone because I might not come and get it. Ok fine I showup at 10:45pm to place a to go order for a waffle and bacon. I placed my order and then proceeded to wait patiently for almost20-25 mins on a waffle and bacon. The cook decided he wanted to publicly chastise the waitress for which were probably simplemistakes by using profanity in front of a restaurant full of people. I then asked for a refund because I shouldn?t have had towait had the phone order just been taken so I could be about my way. The cook responded with your waffle is ready it hadn?t evenbeen down 5 mins and was still raw, and the bacon had yet to be dropped.I?ve lived in this area over 25 years and havefrequented this location a lot over the years. So I'm going to be honest, the only reason why I went here was because at the time I was suffering from a hangover lol. It was... the first breakfast spot I saw so I was like why not stop in and one of the few Waffle Houses that will let you dine in becausemost of your other Waffle Houses only due to go orders up until a certain time and then they'll open their dining room up forcustomers. Now due to the pandemic and post pandemic I really hate that Waffle House close at certain times now I remember thembeing 24 hours all the time no matter where you went but time change. It?s currently 2:42pm and I called in to place an order for pick up. A young lady answered the phone and placed my ordered and... said it will take 25 mins or more???? for a pattie melt??? Then when I asked her why she said it?s shift change. That shouldn?thave to effect the customers paying for a quick meal. 25 min!!! Then when boyfriend came in, he said it was no one currentlythere. I stopped at this location with my daughter because we had a taste for waffles. This was my best experience at any Waffle House... location. Our server, Demaya, we very friendly. She immediately took our orders when we were seated. Both of our meals wereserved extremely fast and were fresh when she brought them out! She made sure to check in on us as we dined, plus cleaned as shewent about her tasks. We will definitely be returning soon!
