This was my hubby's and I first time visiting. We came on a Sunday between 4-5pm. We were celebrating my birthday that weekend... and we had a nice time. The staff is very friendly and down-to-earth! Jasmine was our server and she has the most warmingpersonality! Her smile is infectious and she made you feel at home! We ordered a fish basket and the lobster and shrimp boil. Everything was good and I went with the mild special blend. The seasoning wasn't too bold and that's what I loved about it! Itwas mild and tasty! I also had the red sangria and it was delicious as well! I was serenaded with a birthday song from the staffand I received this awesome cheesecake! It was sooo good! Afterwards, we wanted to take pictures and they offered to take ourpictures! Honestly, this staff as a whole, is one of the best customer services I've experienced in a while! I forgot to take pics of the food but everything was so good. We went for a birthday dinner and the server was A++ while the... food was even better. They were very accommodating even though the birthday girl was really late and even sung for her. Theseasoning is definitely one of the best for seafood spots in the area and nothing was over cooked. Today was my first time eating at Hook and Reel and I have to say I was very impressed with our food and especially with our... server MISSY, hands down she made my first the best time. And just when I thought I was full she came with the dessert. I hadthe flounder basket, my daughter had the seafood spaghetti and our appetizers were garlic bread and crab bites. Dessert was theCaramel Snicker Cheesecake, omg everything was delicious and service was more than excellent. No pics of the appetizer, theywere gone before pictures could be taken. I had the the reel catch . It has some good spice the way I ordered it. Everything was good but the crab legs weren't very... sweet. I usually figure that is a freshness thing. I went to this new restaurant twice in 1 week ! The staff was very friendly and remembered me upon coming the 2nd time . The... cocktails were good and strong I had a voodoo punch , I had steam bag of shrimp and eggs my first visit with calamari it wasgood and tasty. My 2nd visit I couldn?t decide which soup I wanted so they brought me samples of each to help me decide. Bothsoups were delicious clam chowder and lobster bisque.
