Visited this establishment for the first time last Saturday. We had brunch for 6, no reservations. Wait time was reasonable... and quite pleasant thanks, in part, to the attached bakery. Once seated, the service was excellent and the food was delicious -expect generous portions. There aren't a lot of great breakfast spots around these parts. Accordingly, First & Union Kitchenis Highly Recommended. Read more

Casual restaurant great service delicious food and totally worth the wait. I had the best, fluffiest quiche of my life with a... side of corn beef hash because I just couldn't choose. Happily brought leftovers home for the next day! My husband indulged withthe Bronx Ruben sandwich. They literally get the pastrami shipped from the Brox NY. I'm a born New Yorker and that sandwich wasthe real deal. The soups, breads and baked goods here are delightful too. Overall excellent meal and service. We will definitelybe back for brunch again soon! Read more

I tried everything bagel croissant and coffee. Food was fresh and taste was pretty good also. They have good variety of baked... goods. I went there on a weekday around 9AM. Place was clean from inside and outside. They had sitting area both inside andoutside. Staff was also very friendly. Read more

My family and I (2 adults, 2 kids) have been here twice and both times we enjoyed excellent food. Crab eggs Benedict was... outstanding. Service was great but the second time we went we waited a really, really long time to get our food. Not sure startwas happened the second time as they didn't look overly busy. We'll definitely be back again though, hopefully the wait thesecond time was just a fluke. Read more

Busy place, looks welcoming and warm. They are a little slow during peak hours, but nothing too bad. Food is great, but I took... off one star because how their potatoes turned out - half is over fried and other half is almost uncooked? Not exactly what Iexpected. Still would recommend going, they serve a great variety of tasty breakfasts and the toasts are made from their breadfrom bakery. Read more

We got to first and union kitchen as it was about to close for the day. Our waitress was very nice and got our drinks and helped... us with the menu. I ordered the Reuben on sourdough dough bread with fries. My wife had the panini with salad. Our sandwicheswere good and tasty. It was good food and we took our time eating not knowing the restaurant had closed. The staff didn't hurryus out or let us know they had already closed so we sat and talked for a bit until we asked for the bill. Then we noticed thatthe closed sign was on. They told us we were fine and not to hurry. We paid our bill and thanked the staff for theirpatience. The food was good and the staff was friendly. We will definitely be coming back at a more reasonable time to enjoyanother meal at First & Union Kitchen. Read more

I had a lovely time here having a nice breakfast. Even though it was busy, we were seated and received our order fast. I ordered... blueberry pancakes but has wished I ordered the Egg Benedict after seeing my partners order. Cant wait to come back. (Mostrecent visit we tried the quiche. Fluffy eggy goodness!)
