Great sandwiches and amazing pastries. I've been frequenting this place for a long time. Every time I come here I imagine... purchasing it and running it in my retirement. :) So, I highly recommend it overall and give it 5 stars without reservation. Iwill say as a bit of gentle feedback for those in charge: After spending $45 on a delightful meal for two I must admit I was abit taken aback to be told "No, sir. You cannot have a refill on your iced tea. We have to charge for that." Hopefully, theyoung man who curtly told me that can grow a little in both friendliness and business judgment. That said, this place is anawesome landmark that has been providing Snohomish with great value for a lot of years. I routinely recommend it "as bestpastries in Snohomish county" to friends. I was visiting my mom & we went to the lil restaurant in the bakery. We didn't know it closed at 3:30 that day, (got there at... 3), but the staff was so nice about it! My mom had a Ruben sandwich & I had a chicken salad sandwich, both fantastic! Theirbread is amazing!! If you are a bread lover, you must try their bread!! Great place that I will visit again! Staff is usually friendly and helpful. But the menu is atrocious. Coffee is flavorless. Easily the worst biscuits and gravy I... have ever had. Looked like it was reheated and doused in oil. The biscuit was rock hard it broke my plastic fork they gave me.Never going to this spot again. Take the extra walk to Java because their food coffee and prices are way better. 1st street insnohomish is a blight on society. Only town in America dumb enough to let proud boys take over. We told them it was our 1st time there. We ordered from the counter, and found a place to sit, as the restaurant was packed. We... waited over 40 min for biscuits n gravy. We chose the coffee bar side cause the restaurant had a waiting list.. We didn't knowthat they shared a kitchen and that my order was going to take so long. When it finally came, the gravy had broke, had noflavor, and the biscuit tasted burnedovercooked. In the pics you can see how thin broken the gravy was, and the ring of greasearound the entirety of the food. We both didn't finish our food that day. His was a ham and cheese croissant that tasted a dayold, rubbery cheese with no flavor, and the ham was burned. We were hoping it'd be a fun new place to try. We'll never go back Read more
