We just had a great meal at Little Mammoth. I normally don’t write reviews but felt I had to share this great experience. The... restaurant wasn’t busy at all when we arrived which almost made us turn away. I’m so glad we didn’t. Marian, our waitresswas so kind and attentive. She also worked in the bar and made us some delicious cocktails with fries herbs she picked straightfrom a little herb garden! The portions were very generous. The salmon tartare is great for sharing as a starter. The bread andhomemade goat cheese dip is delish! We shared the ribeye steak and it was cooked to perfection together with the truffle friesand a big green salad. I can’t believe we haven’t tried this place during our previous visits! We’ll definitely beback! Thank you! Read more

Really good food. Salmon Tartar appetizer, weiner schnitzel, Coppola, prime rib, and trout. Every thing effect but trout was... a little dry. Good wine choices. Some a bit expensive but most reasonable in price. Chocolate cake with ice cream. Greatservice by the European ladies. Great birthday gift for my wife. Read more

Kicking ourselves for making the mistake of coming to dinner here. Completely average food but very overpriced: the worst value... restaurant in all of Snowmass (we’ve dined at all of them). Dined as a family with 2 young kids and ended up with almost $400bill. Salad had way too much dressing and they were out of all ribeye steaks at 6 pm. Wife and I each ordered the filet, theywere totally forgettable at $65/each and tasted exactly like what you would grill at home. The seasonal vegetables were servedin a small bowl, very average quality including baby carrots! No ambiance, restaurant had few patrons. Waiter was not friendlyeither. So many other higher quality options in Snowmass you should consider first. Read more

Food was good, not great. The aged ribeye was served on a salt brick, which made the meat extremely salty for my tastes.... Definitely not worth the premium charged imo. Almost didn't seat us because we didn't have a reservation, despite the restaurantbeing nearly empty. We overheard something about a $50 per person fee for cancelling reservations. The seafood was tasty andfresh however, which given the geography, was unexpected. Read more

It was surprising that this place could not be found on Yelp, but we really enjoyed our dinner here. The 21-day aged ribeye... served on a salt block was very interesting and to the point: just the right amount of fat and meat, and very good structure, much better than a lot of ribeyes I have ever taken at more fancy and expensive restaurants. We also had the soup of the daywhich was red snapper bisque. It was very delicious too and at a very reasonable price. Servers here are very knowledgeable.Highly recommend! Read more
