I have been Coast to Coast and frequently find myself having to eat out and I always get excited to revisit the Mark III. Their... food is nothing but top-notch for an incredibly fair price and exceptional service/staff. I don?t know how they do it but I?mnot complaining! Read more

Do not waste your time or money. Very slow service horrible seating over priced for a low quality food. We ordered two wet... burritos with pulled beef. $17 each they were small and came out cold. The Sauce they used to make them a wet burrito taste likeplain spaghetti sauce. The meat was not pulled it was more of a sliced beef very bland no flavor. Took forever to get our foodand like I said when we did it was cold in the middle and the sauce was cold. First time going Will never go back again it was ahorrible experience from the time we sat down to the time we left. Read more

We enjoyed a delicious dinner on a Friday night, since we were staying at the adjacent Mark III Inn. The place was packed---for... good reason. The food was fresh and well prepared at a reasonable price. The sweet potato fries were the best we?ve ever had.Our frozen margarita was perfect, as well. The atmosphere isn?t fancy, but you come for the food. Read more

Slow service. There for two hours total. Ordered shrimp tacos. Food was lukewarm at best when it arrived. Rice and beans were... good. Taco shells were crunchy but shrimp was cold. Came with a tasty mango habanero sauce that was *very* spicy. Portion sizewas small. Only two tacos and the bowl of rice and beans for $17. Didn?t feel like the quality of food matched the price tag. Our server, Lauren, was really good. Thank you, Lauren. We shared onion rings and jalapeño poppers. The onion rings were very... good. The poppers were some of the best I've ever had. ????????????! She had the cod with baked potato. She loved the potato, not so much the cod. I had the burrito con queso. Very ????! The red cherry sangria and muscato were booth good as well. She hadthe ???? crisp. It was not what she expected, but it was good. I had the creme brule. Lauren warmed it for me cause I hate coldcreme brule. Oh, it was the best ever. ????????????????? Not speaking just of my own, but don't forget to "like" reviews andphotos you like. This helps the reviewer. Read more

WOW ! Is about the only way to describe Mark III. We went there with the recommendation of some friends that live in the local... area, who went along also. It ended up with a party of 11 people and the service was top notch. The waitress was smiling everytime she came to our table. The staff was extremely friendly and even seated us in a requested area of the restaurant becausethere was a small child with the group. The steaks were prepared perfectly and even though the restaurant was packed wall towall our order came amazingly prompt. As we were in St Joseph, MI from central Missouri, I could not have been impressed anymore with the excellent service and the food. Now I know why the parking lot was packed when we arrived. Our local friends tellus that the Mexican food they sells as fabulous as the steaks. How could you go wrong ? I would recommend this establishment toanyone in a heart beat. I would get The Mark III a 5 Star rating. This is a must to stop if you are anywhere close to the area, and by that, I mean it would be will worth an hours drive to enjoy a first call meal. Thank you Mark III for a fantasticevenimg. One more thing to look for in the waiting area is an old school phone booth. The phone does not work in it but would begreat to show the young kids how phone calls use to be made. Enjoy your visit there and happy dining ! Read more
